These lyrics break me down. They’re so beautiful and remind me of the songs my fiancé would sing to me years ago before he passed away due to covid. He had an angelic voice much like this young man. He was my Romeo and I his Juliet. When he did venues and sang a song with another girls name in it, he’d replace it with mine even if I weren’t there with him. On our bad days He’d say, it’s us against the world baby. Now it’s just me wondering why my children and I were left alone, struggling without our rock. Sometimes my tears feel like the waves of the ocean, drowning me, I feel so lost without him. How does one get on with life when their soulmate was ripped from their grasp in just three days?! I didn’t even have time to say goodbye bc it happened all of a sudden. If you guys ever find that one person in your life, treat everyday like it could be their last! Cherish every second.
