I've done a lot of research on a new sling pack and watched dozens of videos. I have to say this is about the best one I've seen. Shots of you actually *wearing* the pack is much appreciated. Only thing missing is seeing it used as a CCW pack. Would like to see how a pistol fits in the rear compartment and how easy it is to retrieve. Great work.

Great video and an excellent overview of the pack. I was considering a 5.11 MOAB 10 but the Hazard 4 Evac Plan-B is now an option in my search for an EDC daypack on my off duty hours. My work EDC contains a lot of gear I don't need outside of my employment so I need to add a mid sized bag for daily life. Thanks for the review - it helped provide the info I needed. Scott

Well done sir! I would never had looked twice at this pack. It just doesn't seem like something I'd go for. As you explained it more. I could see all its uses. The way it slides around your body to get into it is pretty cool.

You won't believe me, but I found this bag from a 2nd hand shop for 8€! It's less than $9! This is a great bag, I'm thinking of using it as an emergency related bag. Good review and I just wanted to see how people back it up.

That pack is freakin sweet! That would be awesome for a day pack, get home bag or even the multiple pack bug out system idea that I'm working on. I'm not real big on sling packs either, but this one looks more comfortable than most. Thumbs up as always!

Hi, I just got the multi cam version which is 500 d cordura and the flip top bootle holder also in multi cam. Its a great bag. I picked it up from Ebay here in Australia at a good price in regards to the Auusi dollar only around US$0.70. Highly recommended

Where the pens go, you could cut tiny slits in the bottom so the pens could "seat". then a little clear fingernail polist on the slits to prevent them from fraying.

The hydration/ccw zipper xan only be accessed from the left side of the pack making mostly codustive to right shoulder off body carry?

Liked the video. Very thorough review of the pack. I am actually in the market for a good sling pack that can be used for ccw. I have carried the Rapdom Tactical messenger bag along with a few other less expensive sling bags. I still have not found the perfect ccw bag yet.

Once again great review! I really like your channel. I have watched a ton of your video reviews now and they have really hleped me to make a better choice at the check out. I just bought the 5.11 moab 10 and it is a little too small for my EDC items. Is the Hazard 4 pack much bigger? It seems to be a bit bigger. Thanks for your help.

If you had to choose between the hazzard 4 plan b or the maxpedition kodiak gear slinger wich one would you choose? The 5.11 moab 10 is just a little bit too small for my EDC items. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ben.
@livingsurvival9 жыл бұрын
Drew4078 it really comes down to the shape. the plan b is long and narrow, perfect for sliding under a truck bed seat etc and the kodiak is a more standard backpack style shape. both great packs.

Awesome sling pack! That padding looks really comfortable, seems like you can spend a good part of the day with it on. I wonder what pen they sized that pen pocket for? Also if you really wanted the pen to fit you could cut a hole on the bottom of it.

I like your video, it wasn't one of the first I came across for the plan b pack, but was very informative. I'm just starting to get into carrying a pack for an all purpose use, cc if I want , carry papers electronics camel pal along with survival gear. I don't want to have several packs for different uses. All though still good to have a emergency pak with extra supplies. I saw your review on the 3v edc and started looking into that, but feel I should stay with the plan b, and if that's gets to be too much go with the 3v or something similar.
