My family goes back to 1636 in Blossburg. The Fox family. Very familiar with Wellsboro, Tioga Co. I never lived there but am 75 and know it’s history from long past research and family tales. Thank you for further enlightening me about a town my ancestors visited. My wife and I passed thru Wellsboro in 1970. It was our honeymoon and I wanted for her to see the Grand Canyon and then onto Niagara. We are Pennsylvanians, but as fate would have it, we moved to Texas shortly after. We are still happily married and plan on reviving our honeymoon this year. Wellsboro will be on the “trek”. Can’t wait. I have many relatives buried in Antrim Cemetery. Prayers are in order!

It sounds as though you have an amazing trip planned this year. You will have a fabulous time reliving you honeymoon. What a wonderful idea. We love Pennsylvania, but spent most of our time this past summer in the Wellsboro area as our seasonal camp site was there. We plan to go back again this summer. Maybe we will venture further into Pennsylvania; even though we have been to Lancaster and Hershey in years past. We are from Texas. Where in Texas do ya'll reside? Be safe. Prayers for a safe trip coming your way, Bill and DeAnna

Debbie and I love Pennsylvania. What a beautiful state. Debbie's sister works in Wellsboro. We were just in the area a few weeks ago. It's so cool to see all the historical homes. A state with a lot of history. I can't imagine the real estate is too budget friendly, it's just too nice! Loved the fountain! The street lights look great at night. The red '65 mustang was sweet. Nice scene of the deer among the laurels, very nice! Beautiful sunset too. What a fun tour. Thanks for sharing it with us. Thoroughly enjoyed it. :)

Wish we had known y’all were in Wellsboro. We would have planned to meet up. That is so cool that Debs sister lives here. You’re right about the real estate market. It would be high if there was actually anything available. 😂. Be safe and enjoy your trip. Bill and DeAnna

Just so thankful to see that there are still places around the world that keeps the old and trusted architecture intact...as you say, it sure makes it a pleasurable experience to visit and explore. Some of our small towns here in Nova Scotia are trying to keep to the authentic too hoping it will draw people in...I think it does and there are even a couple that I know that have stores that have doggy watering stations, which are Otis approved! :-) Thanks for another great outing...stay safe, keep well, and hope you have a wonderful week...Bruce and Otis

Nicely done! What camera(s) did you use to shoot the video?
@LivingtheSilverLife3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. We use a combination of cameras. I use my iPhone sometimes. But the best shots are from Bills Panasonic’s. He uses a small Panasonic That’s about a step up from my phone which is a LUMIX DCM-GF7. It’s hard to pan with it, but it takes great photos . It doesn’t have great stabilization. The best photos and videos come from his large Pansanoc a LUMIX DMC-G85. Then be In the car and in the kayak we use a GOPro Hero 9.

@@LivingtheSilverLife Thanks so much for responding. I’m planning to add a mirrorless Nikon which is why I asked. The big DSLR is too heavy to haul around on hikes.
@LivingtheSilverLife3 жыл бұрын
That’s true. It’s one of the reasons Bill got the smaller Panasonic. I think he may start using the GOPro Hero 9 on hikes though because it has so much better stabilization.
@lynnnorthrup89143 жыл бұрын
@@LivingtheSilverLife I agree. I have a GoPro Hero 8 Black and it is pretty smooth. I’m getting the Nikon Z50 with the two kit lens. It has VR in the lens but not IBIS and shoots in 4K. I can vlog plus carry it on hikes. I also have a DJI drone which gets me a different perspective. I use Premier Pro and Photoshop was has taken me awhile to learn and am still learning. Thanks for your feedback.

Bill wanted me to make sure you know about The Peak Design clip. It attaches to your backpack and another piece to your camera so you can carry your camera easily on your pack while you hike.
