I refunded Elementor and got a bricks lifetime license instead, so it's nice to see you'll be exploring it as well! Hoping to see some content on it!

Rino, it is so great to have a video on **Rino**. You are an amazing lecturer and presenter. I learned Elementor from your Udemy lectures several years ago and have been following you since then. Oh, and your Elementor Pro Mastery is a gem. I've found you to be the clearest and most focused on the material; a great teacher. Your personal goals and aspirations are just right on too. More power to you and much personal and professional success in your passions!

Awesome Rino, what you are planning to do with the live streams is something I am also doing, and to be fair, it’s saving a bunch of time. You can’t perfectionize (or something like that) on your live streams. If you ever would like to have a chat on the live stream or would love to exchange some knowledge let me know 😁. And happy new years🎉
@rinodeboer4 күн бұрын
Awesome! How do you feel its saving you time? I have an idea but could you share your experience with me? And yes, lets chat 😁
@techiesreviews4 күн бұрын
@@rinodeboer Well, first, a bit of context. With a full-time job as a UX designer for a tech company (so no web building during the day, yet) and two young kids, my time is limited. I have two evenings (from 8pm to about 10ish, sometimes 12) to get an idea, build/test it, and create videos. In general, a live stream saves me time because I can create a video from the things learned during the live stream. After all, it's top of mind. It also helps me structure the things that I need to cover. I am very chaotic by nature, and explaining it out loud helps me understand what I want to tell so I can structure it better the next time around. Lastly, it's a good indication of what topics to cover and how long it would take me to cover a topic for a video. My live streams don't get a lot of views, but the relative amount of views and watch time give me an indication that a topic is good enough for a video. Secondly, I have been doing that a few times, repurposing live stream content for videos, like the plugin overviews, in 2 or 3 live streams I have content for a whole month or two, hopefully, in the future more people will join the live streams so I can help them with their questions. Thirdly, it helps me feel more relaxed on camera because the live streams are not perfect, there are things that go wrong and you need to debug live. When recording a video afterward it feels more natural. And I need less time scripting and editing. This especially is something I want to grow in seeing I have limited time. Nice that you like to have a chat! What is the best way of scheduling something? Love to understand if and how we vibe 😁😁

I'm curious about bricks vs breakdance? Which one did you use?
@marszu-com4 күн бұрын
I support your opinion. After 5 years in Elementor, I am now finishing my 3rd project in Bricks. If I have to go back and correct something in a project made in Elementor, I feel like someone tied one of my hands behind my back :)
@tobisalami4 күн бұрын
@@downo hi... I use Bricks, mostly. But get my feet wet with other builders too.

@@marszu-com that accurately describes it! Haha! And I was very dogmatic about using Elementor previously. I didn't know what I didn't know.

Switched to Breakdance in Oct, gotta say its free version is far superior than Elementor. But newer version, took back some function that previously available on free. Good thing I can use previous version.
@rinodeboer3 күн бұрын
Interesting. What features did they remove from the free version?
@designbyamirul2 күн бұрын
@@rinodeboer I dont read the documentation but from what I noticed, u cant put URL in images & they completely removed post featured image widget. They dont say that they removed it but they did it for "performance optimization"
@rinodeboer2 күн бұрын
Interesting. So do you still think its possible to create a blog with the free version now?
@designbyamirulКүн бұрын
@@rinodeboer since they are not available on wp directory, I can revert previous version without worries, currently the free version is on 2.2 but I'm on 2.0. I reckon we can still make a blog for free on the latest version but without the featured image tho.

I don't use Elementor and I don't purchase Elementor Themes (Theme Forest) because there is no "Global Options" for fonts and colors changes sitewide. But I use it for landing pages. I really don't understand how it became so big... is it just me?

Hey Rino. Happy new year for you - all your wishes will become true. 🙂 I like your comments to new plans for 2025. In concern of looking to other pagebuilders, I would skip Gutenberg because of terrible Ui/Ux, and Breakdance because of css and performance issues and the risk of unstability how the developer company will behave in future (Breakdance is the former Oxygen builder - so please google what has happend with Oxygen customers... bad thing). Your ideas about creating videos and perfectionism are good, - make (live)videos about creating or optimizing something (e.x. webdesign project) - and it haven' to be the perfect cut. 😊
