Nice video guys! If you ever want to ride together, let me know. We were at Wayne National Forest in May and the Perry State Forest that both are in Ohio. Wayne trails were awesome and exhilarating!
@DirtyJakTheDustyBean5 ай бұрын
Thanks Scott! Haven’t rode in Ohio yet actually never caught our radar to ride there. It came up to put together a ride last year while out on the trails (your channel came up in the discussion) but we didn’t do it as we figured we were not a big enough channel to swing that. Maybe we try it this year, who knows….

@@DirtyJakTheDustyBean I had some reliability issues with my quad last year with close to 5,000 miles. A problem prevented us from riding on our annual June 2023 trip. Lucky we had the canoe and could paddle the Manistee in its place! Anyway, I did not want to risk other trips that would potentially cause problems for others. Earlier this month, I purchased a second quad, a 2022 Canam 650 XT with 67 miles for about half the price of new. I am back in the game!

So I gather that the 50” weren’t great! That would keep us away as we prefer them to the often washboarded snowmobile trails! Great video!! We are heading up to Clear Lake Campground soon! Usually we camp at rustic but just bought a small fridge so want to go with electric this time! Coolers can be a pain in the butt! Thanks for the video!!
@DirtyJakTheDustyBean5 ай бұрын
Funny you say that about the coolers, we just ordered a electric fridge (Ice Co) and a portable power station from Jackery. Were hoping this can help us get off grid a little easier for a little longer! The area was 10/10 for the routes (maybe dirt bikes but not positive on that) but the 50 inch or less were not good at all during our stay. We would go back for the camping, restaurants as we had a great time but the riding on ATV's if you like 50 inch or less was toward the bottom compared to other 50 inch or less. The routes we exceptional (maybe we caught some grooming, who knows) so we had a great time riding overall. Clear Lake is on our list for sure, not sure if we will get there before they shut down this year, hopefully we do.

@@DirtyJakTheDustyBean we have a cabin in St. Helen which has a lot of awesome 50” trails so sometimes we go places and they aren’t as good! If you’re ever in the St. Helen area just PM we and we can ride with you guys!!

Thank you! We are hoping to get out and meet more people in the camping/off roading community. So far we join other groups rides and maybe someday will be able to have a camping/riding weekend if we grow enough!

Hi there, when did you visit Little O? I ask since I know the guy who grades (grooms) the trail. My understanding is that it has only been done once this year and usually gets done again by Labor Day if not sooner since it is a fairly heavy used trail. The Cycle Conservation Club works with the the US Forest Service on that trail since it is on national forest. Part of the problem on that trail in particular is there is lots of sand and it gets whooped pretty quickly. The routes are groomed twice a week but glad you got to them before the chatter bumps started from the sxs!
@DirtyJakTheDustyBean5 ай бұрын
We were impressed with the routes during our stay, they were excellent. The 50 inch or less were whooped pretty bad almost the whole trail, were there in early to Mid June 2024.

@@DirtyJakTheDustyBean he headed up that first week of June so I’m really surprised it was that bad. I groom trails too so I’m always watching your videos for your reviews! Loggers is amazing for dinner too great atmosphere and great prices food.

@@Lupis1437 I got off the trail as the whoops were starting to get to me. The local restaurants were fantastic, very fun area. We don't get to that area much, usually more north but absolutely loved the campground and all the people we met during our stay -- great group of people for sure!

How is the overall reliability between the Suzuki and the Polaris you used to have? I have a 2024 Sportsman 1000 and I love it. I’ve been looking for my son a quad but I’m torn between the Kingquads and Sportsmans. Thanks
@DirtyJakTheDustyBean4 ай бұрын
The Sportsman does most things better (power steering, ride quality, additional options, etc) but the Suzuki’s have been as advertised for their quality so far for the first 2 1/2 years on em. We’re split on a few things with the King Quad but due to the power steering alone won’t be purchasing them again when the time comes (unless Suzuki improves this drastically).
