I will never forget the first time I heard this glorious voice: My “new boyfriend” (now my partner of 26+ years) said “You MUST hear this incredible singer” and played me “The Story Goes On” CD. I remember pronouncing that “A Place Called Home” will always be “our song” (it still is...) and I’ve been hooked ever since. She is humble, absolutely lovely, and incredibly talented.

Love this song and it has special meaning to me. My youngest daughter did a solo dance to this song many years ago and it was wonderfully moving.

I can’t sing this without crying. The lyric “light my life with sunshine” hits so deep that I cry through the rest of it. I fell in love with this song listening to it on The Story Goes On and On. She just brings it to life.

I'll never forget the first time I heard you sing, Liz. You were 15 (almost 16) years old with braces on your teeth...and you walked into rehearsal for the Grand Music Hall Show at Great America. And when you opened your mouth to sing … we froze in amazement as the most glorious sound emanated from that mouth full of braces. Nothing has changed these (how many?) decades later. What a gift!

I'm usually one of the first people in the Bay Area to buy tickets to your SF dates. Sadly, I wasn't able to do so this time and was devastated. So I'm thrilled you've posted this of your performance there at Feinstein's - and it happens to be one of my favorites in your repertoire.
