Awesome. Now, I can't say "I made this happen", but months ago when Whitney did a live stream and asked who we wanted to see as guests, I twice said Liz Gillies, paying $5 the second time to get it highlighted. When Whitney had Esther Povitsky on the phone and asked if she knew Liz it sounded like it was the first time Whitney had heard of her. So I don't KNOW this was my influence, but $5 well spent if it was. More so if there's a farcical lesbian sisters movie in the future. 🎉

@dillona10016 ай бұрын
Nah but it can be a thing. She usually guesses that it has something to do with never finding a love as strong as your family's, feeling it's inadequate, and true to her word, I know someone with a tight-knit family struggling to date for that exact reason. I also know adults well into their 50s with parents alive, healthy, and still married (obviously not American💀) and they still struggle to see their parents as imperfect humans since their image remains so ridiculously untarnished. These sound like immaturities, and that's literally the issue: while those of us with broken families and other traumas usually grow up *_too early,_* those whose families still remain largely intact could theoretically *_just not._* Obviously Whit's a neurotic queen and we love her for that, but I also believe she has a good read on human beings and that we are still unpacking what kind of traumas exist in the world since so many of us *_still_* aren't believed as it is...

I think men & women should speak up when they know about a weirdo creep that's acting in a manipulative & predatorial manner, if they're ready to. I don't think it's an obligation, but I do think it should be something most survivors should strive towards. I think that goes for men & women though including men & women that are friends, family members, & associates of people that they may think are PDF files. Similar to criminals, you can't expect the person in the wrong to tell on themselves. As far as the criticism & judgement that comes with it, I can only imagine that it has to be one of the worst feelings on the planet, but the day we let people's extreme judgement stop us from doing the right thing is the day we as a society have completely failed. Love ya both

They should speak out if they’re comfortable. No one should ever make them feel forced to speak out if they don’t want to. They don’t owe us that.
