Diana's reaction was by far the most heartbreaking (maybe next to Kelsey's bc of the friendship, maybe) she really came to love Liza over the seasons and they developed such an underrated friendship and seeing her break down into a panic attack was absolutely heartbreaking

To us, she does look older than 26 yet I have seen young ladies that look much older than they are. It is always subjective where age is concerned. When I was young, people thought that I was older. Then as I grew older, the opposite happened. Once when my husband and I went on a military base to register the second-hand car that we had bought for our teen daughter, I had my hair up in pigtails and I was in jeans and a shirt worn by much younger women. When my husband was told by the clerk that they needed to talk to our daughter also, the clerk looked right at me and said “oh your daughter is right there”. The look on my husband’s face was priceless. I couldn’t help laughing and the clerk was confused until I told her about why I had laughed (I was 39years old).

She looked pretty good in Season 1, but she started aging fast, it doesn't help that the story is supposed to only last 3 years but the show went on for 7, that means that by the end of the show she aged almost a decade.

@@Alex-m1p9z she looked like a convincing late 20s woman in the first 3 season but yes past season 4 she started to age, the looks they gave her did no help either, at some point in season 4 she had her hair tied in nest/crownbread-like braids during every episode, she looked more convincing with her long hair and her tie and dye

I hate so much the scene when josh calls Liza Lies-a, like come on you were ok protecting the secret for months and now you are playing like you didn't know just to nurture kelsey's hate and frustration at the beginning of season 4

I think he was hurt by Liza kissing with Charles. Despite him giving a free pass at guy no. 4, he probably was shocked and heartbroken to witness her with someone else, let alone her boss Charles. Plus, he and Charles have met a few times with Liza not telling Josh anything. So he felt deceived thus coincide with Kelsey about Liza 'Lies-a'.

@@claudinefaure4897 Charles and all his drama with Pauline was not great either + the fact that he was Liza's boss adds a weird dynamic. It's also laughable when he felt betrayed that Liza was "just" a woman around his age and not his fantasy of a younger fresh girlfriend which would rejuvenate him and make him look cool in front of his friends, like he still "got it". Both Josh and Charles had moments of questionable behavior.

In german it`s even weirder as we pronounce Liza as "leiser" which means quiet. So Josh than said to Kelsey: We need to shut her down, she needs to be leider(quiet) :)

That's not true her job could have definitely fired her especially because she represented herself wrong but I'm also really confused about how her job didn't catch that earlier on like don't they do background checks? 🤔 Don't they need an ID verification unless she got a fake ID?

This is a very good show and I am waiting for the seventh season to start filming again once it is safe to do so. Looking younger than you are is all in the eye of the beholder because some people really do look way younger than they are and also the opposite is true. Plus it does feel good to actually be taken for a much younger age. I remember for my 20 year high school reunion, I went shopping for a nice dress. I found one that I really liked, so I asked my teenage daughter for her opinion. Her eyes sort of got large and she just stood there looking at me. Then she said “you look great in that but.......you are my mother!!!”. Needless to say, I wore that dress to that reunion and I did get a lot of attention (my husband stayed close by,haha). Very nice for a former high school wall-flower.

Her skin looks great for 40, but she....still looks 40, sorry. 20-somethings don't have furrows between the eyes, her cheeks wouldn't have lines in her 20's either. Her age shows on her neck, also. I'm surprised more people didn't get suspicious, honestly.

That's not how this works, if you see someone who says that they are 26, have only 20 something friends and a 26 yo boyfriend, you have no reason to not believe that they are indeed 26. Also i think Liza sometimes looks very young with the right look and when her hair is died and down, not when it's up like in most of season 4

My daughter and I look a lot alike, especially when I was younger. I worked as the nurse in charge of a maternity unit when my then 16yr old daughter became a volunteer candy-striper who helped out during the summer that year. I was making patient rounds and she was passing ice water to our patients and she asked in a patient’s room, “Mom is she allowed to have ice water?”. The husband of that patient asked, “did she just call you, mom??”. When I said yes, he said “you don’t look that old!” ( his wife smacked his arm). I just laughed because (back then) most people did think that we were sisters or such.
