Kamila looked 'heavy' on the ice today. She wasn't getting the height she usually does at all, and she usually has a long 'transition' in her combo, but today it was even more so, not just one edge change/pull, but a clear wobble back and forth several times, and her pre-rotation was excessive today as well. I wonder if that was just nerves or if the fall on the 3A bothered her more then usual.

Valieva always wobbles in her combo jumps. Its why her combo jumps look ugly because when she winds back for the toe her other foot always wobbles. As for Valieva’s lutz, in past videos of we love skating and other skating channels, she always prerotates the Lutz 1/2 to 3/4 almost a full rotations worth of prerotation. Plus her nervousness probably because I haven’t seen her miss the axel, not even on test skates where she fell on her quads.

I did not know that Liza actually has proper technique! I love Aliona already because of her having better technique that the 3 Olympians in Beijing, but Liza really amazed me. She and Aliona should be getting much higher GOEs than Kamila. I’m surprised Kamila had an outside edge on the lutz, but the full blade take off and the prerotations have got to go

Alena needs to close the gab between her legs while in the air during her jumps. Rewind and look. The technique is not as great as you think. It's slowing her down and is probably why she does not have a quad or a consistent 3a.

Yes, its always like that, sometimes even 3/4th worth of prerotation. Almost a whole rotation in the jump prerotating, embarrassing. The textbook takeoff on a Lutz and Flip is 1/4 like Liza’s, not 1/2 like the Eteri girls do.

Literally what it means. The jump technique is what it's supposed to be jumped. For clearer comparison I advised you to check someone like Kim Yuna or Yuzuru Hanyu. Search Yuna textbook jump and you'll understand. Just fyi, none of the eteri girls have perfect textbook jumps. Just some parts like the outside/inside edge is correct. that's because the eteri camp prefers excessive prerotation and not properly use the toe pick to jump toe jumps
