I think the glass piece is called a trivet. And you’re correct hot pots go on it so it doesn’t burn the surface

DELICIOUS! Everything looks SO REAL!! It's extremely hard to pick just one favorite, but I'll go with the chocolate dipped strawberries. Yum! Your set up is so sweet Liz...pun intended. Bargain Bethany got me hooked on faux treats too. I still want to try my hand at making some faux cakes. The brown silicone caulk works great as chocolate drizzle/drips & doesn't shrink or look dry as it dries. Very hard to decipher that it's not real chocolate or fudge. Thank you for all the yummy inspiration! And yes, a tutorial of real food treats would be great too!

They all look great...try painted rice for embellishing your sweets....I put the rice in a bowl with a drop of paint and shake, let dry on parchment paper

Fast and Final is a great spackle to use for faux whipped cream. But I would continue to use the dollar tree spackle for ice cream dips since it's a little dryer. I've made faux Irish coffees, faux shakes and have learned which spackle is best to use for my projects. Depending on what I was making would determine which spackle I would use. Your sweet treats turned out wonderful. Great job.
