Blue-tongued skinks and bearded dragons are my favorite to work with but the little wild skinks and anoles are my favorite to watch outside. I know its night but I'm still impressed it went to sleep on you. That has to be the coolest feeling when they trust you that much! 😍🥰

That Lizard is really cool Chris! Hope that all is well in your neck of the woods! 👍👍🦎🦎
Isn't it impressive? The Band Wing Grasshoppers are even more impressive

You make your own luck. You seem to be in nature a lot and are very observant. That’s what I attribute to my success in finding rare and interesting organisms, though I’ve never had a snake crawl into my lap!

That camouflage is just incredible! It's interesting to me how many creatures in nature, if they feel safe enough, will totally enjoy sharing our body heat! Great vid... Thank you 👍

You need to change the channel name to "The Herp Whisperererererer"
I have never seen a lizard in the wild here in Ohio.

You have pretty much all the ones I find in my region - Fence lizards, 5 Lined Skinks, Brown Skinks (SMALL and under rocks and logs, often) Broad Headed Skinks and the Italian Ruin Lizard. Try looking and drier, harsh area or walk slowly and listen for their scurrying. Like Squirrels, many will hide on the far side of tree trunks, so just hold your arm out on other side, and they'll often run onto the other side. Or, just watch my lizard videos and notice the habitats. When it is super hot, it is harder to find them. Try before 11am. I have also found pretty much all of them in deciduous forests, also. Listen for their claws as they run away. Fallen logs are perfect for sunning on top.
