I'm working on my own tips series and this was wonderfully helpful and clarified a few things! Thank you Liz!

Dear Liz, totally off the subject, but I am desperate in need of advice. I bought a Stazon inkpad in the colour koala grey, but when i opened it, it is dry. I have sourced a lot of shops looking for a reinker to no luck. Then I tried to google looking for a temporary solution to just revive the inkpad untill i can get hold of a reinker. Do you have any tips or tricks or advice for me perhaps?

Hi, that's a tricky one. I have never been in that position, so don't have first hand experience of a hack for this. I wonder if adding very small amounts of rubbing alcohol might work. I would be tempted to add a small amount and then leave it, with the lid on, for a couple of hours to see what happens. But, as I say, I have never tried this myself. Good luck. Lx

I always have issues with new stazon ink pads as my lines always bleed...should I let it dry out a little first before use?

Hi Abby, thank you for asking about this. I would start by saying that the Stazon pads will dry out quickly as they are alcohol based, so you don't really want to encourage them to dry out any more than they will anyway. The most common cause of ink bleeding on paper is the paper itself. The smoother the paper/card, the less chance there is of bleeding, so I would start by trying the same stamped image on a variety of papers/cards until you find one that works for you. I hope this helps. Lx
