She's amazing. I took my granddaughter (aged two at the time) to see her about seven years ago. My baby clapped and swayed. She never made a sound, simply spellbound by the music and that soothing voice!

I listened a lot to Nina Simone before discovering her daughter Lisa Simone who sang together with Lizz Wright in the song FOUR WOMAN. They have bewitched me. I also love these women. Very true, this band are excellent

This wonderful guitarist played many times with Regina Carter and the man is extraordinary while I do not know the bassist name but I do respect his technique together with the accuracy of the drummer. What a good group and she knows how to sing as if she sang in church then learned a bit of soul later but no doubt I am wrong. I like her at the Newport festival as she did so very well and apologized saying that singers of today do not have the lungs of yesterday singers. I immediately thought of Ella Fitzgerald and turned over to Joe Pass, a genius, and Ella Fitzgerald, the "true" queen of jazz. Oh yes, I love Lizz Wright and if I ever get a chance to see her, I would go but I had one other queen and got gouged for some impulsive purchase and just missed out for nobodies fault but my own which is why I come here and listen to Lizz.
