Some of my favorite Sade songs are: "Kiss Of Life", "Maureen" and of course "Smooth Operator". As I was reading the comments, I saw that Felix KM Galanti recommended a few of my favorites. Which are, Basia, Corrine Drewery (Swing Out Sister), Tracey Thorn (Everything But The Girl) and Bebel Gilberto. Some of my favorite songs from them are: "Third Time Lucky" Basia (live) "Better Make It Better" Swing Out Sister (The Living Return album) "Each And Everyone" Everything But The Girl "Aganju" Bebel Gilberto. There's something about a woman singing in Portuguese (I don't understand a word of the language). I'll add just one more, Tania Maria's "Come With Me".

Sade sings in a style that is easy on her voice, so she will maintain her voice for a long while. I have always liked her style and how she sings. The musicians behind her are excellent.
