They are not developing or rebuilding the NYC subways at all. They are just raising the fare each year. It's going to be $3 dollars per ride soon (22 RMB), and nothing's being renovated or fixed. Meanwhile she just paid 6 RMB in this video for a much superior ride.

@@MightySteve001 Nah, even if there are no wars the politicians will waste and steal the money. They won' improve the subway. The construction workers they contracted also don't work the full day. They will "look busy" for about 3 hours in the morning, then they'll stand around and chat/drink coffee until they leave in the afternoon. They get paid twice as much as normal workers. That's why nothing gets done, small things takes months to fix. Worker union bosses, politicians, mob bosses get paid millions for nothing. The whole system is corrupt.
@LovbaitiКүн бұрын
The deeper reason is that the United States is a state-led arms dealer and treats arms as an industry. Military bases are only a part of the arms business, which means that military bases are conducive to the sale of arms. The money earned goes into the hands of arms dealers, who then sponsor politicians to gain better national support, and politicians will also receive financial support. Both of them gain economic and political resources at the same time. In essence, the state and arms dealers have a symbiotic and mutually beneficial relationship.

It is not that American can't have a nice subway system as shown. It is the Politician has use all the taxes collected and use it for intervention wars around the world. Just look at the 20 years of occupation in Afghanistan, how much did that cost ? 🤔 What was gain from that occupation ? Then there is the Syrian war, it started during Obama admin to now. How much did that cost ? Then there is israel...how much did that cost. All that money used for wars could have been use to upgrade and maintain all the infrastructure in America , but instead they money are being use to blow thing up and kill people around the world.

@@cosmoray9750 Well. I'm not going to argue against the taxes being spent wrong or not collected enough, but the subway system is not paid with federal taxes. That's city taxes. City taxes aren't used for war. But in general Americans don't receive well having their taxes spent in community stuff as healthcare or public transportation, so maybe they should look to themselves first. I'm sure if the city proposed to raise taxes by a 1% for having a really good subway everyone who doesn't use the subway every day would protest.

This is why the Chinese government has taken the initiative to reduce cooperation and exchanges with the U.S. government. The U.S. government and some American people have lost credibility. Many people are very emotional and aggressive, have lost their normal communication skills, and often Abandon personal credit to gain profits

It's because the U S a establishment has become ultra aggressive anti-Chinese. This sentiment and anti-Chinese (propaganda, sanctions etc) has also filtered down to the vast majority of individuals in the U sa. To begin with most amerikans naver like Chinese people, merely tolerating them and some even regarded Chinese people as low level sub human.

I live in NYC and besides the crazy homeless people that attack riders daily, the train were always delayed over a very small amount of rain over the past few years. Last week, people were stuck on the train for 2 hours because the old electrical system exploded and caused a fire on the F line. 3500 people had to jump onto the tracks and walk through the dark tunnels to get back into the streets. Good times... I don't even care about how dirty and old the Subway is at this point. I just need it to be safe and not have 1 hour delays every other day.

Line 18 is the newest line built, it is 56km long , trains reach 160km/ph, and the journey takes 40 minutes stopping at all 7 stations.I changed at Panya Square to get to GZ South high speed railway station. Fun fact, GZ metro is the only metro system where all 307 stations are underground. Its the 5th busiest metro system in the world behind Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo and London commuting 3.3billion passengers a year. Take care and regards from a fellow South African here in Australia.

China has recently announced the expansion of the latest visa-free policy, adding 9 new countries for visa-free entry. So far, the number of countries with visa-free entry has increased to 38. At the same time, the visa-free stay period has been extended from the current 15 days to 30 days. "China Travel" has been upgraded! China's transit visa-free policy has been fully relaxed and optimized. I think the Chinese government is very smart. The unilateral implementation of the visa-free policy for 38 countries will help provide convenience for more businessmen who travel to and from China for business and investment, and show China's determination to further open up to the outside world. In addition, let more people from European and American countries see a real China that is completely different from Western propaganda.
