@@chathuanushki6331 Have you done any research during your undergrad? I assume you have to do it in your final year (Sorry, I am not aware of how private universities work). You probably need to have a Ph.D. to become a lecturer in a government university (Since most government universities rarely recruit students from private universities after undergrad). In order to enroll in a Ph.D., you need to have research experience. So for instance, if you like immunology you can do research in immunology. Usually, you need to find a supervisor who conducts research in immunology, and then you can join with him/her. Here's the link to the biomedical science website of my university. Most of the BSc degrees are not career oriented, but academia oriented. The objective of a BSc degree is focused on pure Science/fundementals other than applications. Therefore you may find it difficult to get a job related to your degree in Sri Lanka. But there are limited opportunities in the industry. Other than that you can go to Scientific Serivice and many other government jobs. Also, some people go to other industries as well. Everything will depend on how you perform. Having a degree is just one qualification. Overall you should be qualified for the job. This answer is not perfect. But you can get an idea
