My 2c . I think deleting the blowback function altogether would be a good gain - however it would likely only produce more power if that extra gas then has enough space to expand and fill. Which brings you back to more volume.
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
Deleting the blow back would require the user to manually rack the slide for each shot. That would not be useful or fun in my opinion.
@kobusvanrensburg40922 ай бұрын
@@lesslethalfordummies kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYSpdX-VbtmXqKM "Mad Dog" did the delete on the M&P. I did it on my PPQ. No blowback, but you dont need to rack the slide either? Maybe the Glock functions differently?
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
He didnt actually delete anything. His pistol still blew back. He did however plug holes of air loss which is still useful. The blow back happens via the valve pin.

Amazing video man........Could u post more informations about the new spring ? where can i buy that spring ? i wanted to do the same modifications
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
Currently the only spring that has any effect on velocity is the lighten valve spring from HomeDefense-24. There is another company state side call Airfunners that sell his own spring which was the first on the market. If i find something better i will share it after testing its reliability.

Great video. I’m busy catching up on all your past videos as only came aware of your channel when you sent me a message about one of my vids. Do you have a stiffer spring to reduce the recoil? Regarding the leak.. I have done this myself on a different airgun. Had the same problem. I fixed it by very slightly sanding the tip of the piercing part. Drilling it opened up the gap towards the bottom which is where it was leaking. If you tightened the co2 with a hex screw you could nip it up a bit more but the adjuster wheel on this only adjusts the co2 to contact the pin. Then you adjust the bottom plate to pierce it. As such, it only pushes the co2 up so far and that’s why it leaks. Your obviously very competent so don’t need my advice but thought I would share my thoughts anyway.
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
I did order some a stiffer spring for the recoil. It will be a couple of weeks. New nylon shim coming tomorrow. My plan was to try and tightened the co2 more and see if the leak stopped. In the meantime i left an empty co2 tightened in over night to maybe create some seal memory. Failing that i will try and re-profile the pin so it has a shorter angle.

Nice test as always Sean. To bad it leaks. I put the screen back in the magazine when I had mine open. I think I will have to drill it like you have done. I just grinded the lower part (port) and opened the angles. I didnt didnt risk drill down into the valve itself. I dont have a drillpress, but I have a vice. Is it possible to drill this by hand? Or is it to risky?🤔
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
I would not drill it by hand but i would remove that screen and try yours again.

I doubled the spring strength on my ppk slide (literally used 2 springs), and it still blew back. Plus it increased my shot count significantly, channeling more gas forward.
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
Me likely! Thanks for the info. I got a tougher spring on the way.
@scavengernick31912 ай бұрын
@lesslethalfordummies if that steel ball is bigger, the follower will be late to meet the slide stop in time. Or it's heavy and makes the spring bounce down as it's escaping. Does the receding barrel wrap under or over the ball?
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
Barrel goes under the ball.
@scavengernick31912 ай бұрын
@lesslethalfordummies yeah I see it now. Thight seel with that barrel scoop. Your ball goes out and the scoop stays behind, holding down the follower.
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
@scavengernick3191 sounds about right but what triggers the lock back?
@bretthighbee2 ай бұрын
At least with these markers if you have a major oops modding it. All that is messed up is the magazine and not the marker.

Unless you crack the slide off from too much horsepower 😂
@airgunsanonymouslesslethal19042 ай бұрын
the drilling might 've worked if you can tighten the co2 or use a better seal there now? I'd keep the shim on the blowback either way, for smooth action and wear reduction.
@lesslethalfordummies2 ай бұрын
Funny enough after filming this the new seals were at the door. New shim will be tomorrow. Springs a couple of weeks. Got me thinking a stiffer blowback spring may force the gas to exit the front more 🤔
@airgunsanonymouslesslethal19042 ай бұрын
@@lesslethalfordummies ive checked for that too but I only saw a (little) difference from holding the slide w/ both thumbs to keep the back door closed. [my ppk]
