Great vid Jim and like you say yes riding an ebike is easy when riding slowly but you push it and ride it fast it’s not so easy and gives you a proper workout hard to explane to non ebike riders

I broke my left hand ring finger metacarpal ( stable neck fracture) a month ago. First ride 25 miles XC yesterday - felt ok, a bit achy on rough downhills. Physio told me it was fully healed after 2-3 weeks and the only thing to avoid is contact sports ( eg boxing). Any pain is you just annoying it so back off if it hurts. She also gave me exercises which I’ll link to. They definitely help. I am also an indoor rower and an orthopaedic surgeon in one of the rowing Facebook groups said “crack on, be guided by pain”

Excellent cheers. I ride BPW sat and had to stop due to the pain, as it's so rough! But Sunday I ride Dyfi off piste, where it's steep, but loamy and the pain was minimal, lesson learnt!!

Nice one Jim. I'll admit that I am not a fan of Degla at all but proper enjoyed watching it; you made it entertaining 👍 I also don't get the mentality of some people stopping and leaving their bikes in silly places. I had a run in with a prat at Delamere a while ago, who had decided (with his mates) to stop after one of the berms on the 4X track to have a chatter; got quite rude when I pointed out that it maybe wasn't the best place to congregate.

@@PinnedTV ah shit. Well possibly delayed healing as not been immobilised. If it starts becoming weak or functionally you are struggling then re x-ray may be need to check it’s not displaced. You prob have a follow up with fracture clinic, they will advise you.

Met a bloke at degla last year riding the wrong way up that first fast descent on the blue trail who really couldn’t understand why I was upset with him, the fact that I’d had to nearly melt my brake rotors to miss hitting him head on seemed to completely pass him by .....
