LOVE Llandudno .. beautiful place ! Right at the top of my most favourite places ! SO many happy memories. And for all the shopaholics ... PLENTY of shops ... most of which run all along the LONG main street, to the back of the seafront/hotels. But then you can't expect a guy to show you shops can you ? 😄😁 ( understandably ) Thanks for another great trip 👌💞

A massively underrated seaside resort. Spent many happy hours there as a child. Check out the Great Orme and Happy Valley for views, cafes, artificial ski slopes rides, shops etc. Even better take the tram up to the very top! So much to see and do around Llandudno. Thanks for posting!

underrated by whom exactly?

I live a few miles away and the place is always insanely busy so I'm not sure who is underrating it, a thriving high street too which is becoming rare in modern day British towns.

I live in Colwyn Bay, just along the coast, and it's not a patch on the 'Queen Of the Welsh Resorts' - Llandudno. Both myself and my Mrs do a lot of our shopping in the town, and never get sick of it! There isn't a resort in comparison with Llandudno, when you look at the beautifully kept Victorian hotels, the bay itself and two headlands of limestone like the Great Orme and the Little Orme at each end. There's that lovely pier, and the town has some lovely gift shops too. There's the spectacle of those lovely mountain goats on the Great Orme as well as the fantastic tram and cable car rides. When you've got good weather in the area, I think it's one of the best resorts . . . on this planet!. The video you've made here is excellent, by the way, and so, many thanks.

Happy memories of being on holiday there twice with my parents in the 80s. I loved it that much the 1st time, i begged to go back again the following year lol. There is an outdoor paddling pool away up towards the Little Orm end, and that's where I learned to swim. Lovely little town.

Love the pier! You should do a compilation of all of the piers you've visited! Do you have a favorite?

Love Llandudno, but people will feed the gulls although there are lots of signs asking people not to. It just makes them aggressive and then they attack people. Great pier in Llandudno and so much to do. You missed West shore again Neil, unless of course you have done it to put on at a later date. Some lovely views from there. Thank you for sharing another lovely seaside video with us.👍👍

I have only just discovered your videos this week as I have been off work ill with Covid. I’ve been stuck in the house but watching your lovely bright & colourful walks has made me feel much better & I’ve felt like I’ve seen a few new places without leaving my living room! Keep up the good work, I’m a subscriber now so will look forward to seeing more of your videos.

As a child, I and my family used to visit our Grand Parents in LLandudno, just after the war. They ran a small hotel there, and my dad drove his Taxi to and from the railway station.. This is one of the very few major Seaside Towns, that refused to modernise, in a brash and bawdy way, as most did, and maintained it's quality and originality, yet still has all it's victorian facades and seafront charm, and always clean.

So many happy memories, must go back one day, anyone remember the mine that was on the pier? I think it was used to collect money for war vets. Also the amusement arcade was called The Golden Goose, I'd spend all my holiday money in there lol

Thanks for a lovely seaside walk along Llandudno Promenade & Pier. The Little Orme is often referred to as 'Elephant Rock'. Had you walked the other way from where you started towards the Little Orme & the new RNLI station you would have seen the resemblance of an elephant lying down with its trunk leading out into the sea. Whilst in North Wales, have you ever done a walk around Beaumaris on Anglesey? This is a lovely small town, Also whilst there you could do a boat trip along part of the Menai Strait and around Puffin Island.

Loved Llandudno as a child ,and still do more than 60 years later, beautiful bay ,the hotels and the pier, the ride up to the top of the Great Orme is lovely, with a visit to the restaurant at the summit complex, once owned (1952-61) by Randolph Turpin the boxer and his partner Leslie Salts.Randolph commited suicide by shooting in 1966 because of debt

What a sad ending to his life. I remember his years of fame as a boxer, in the 1950's. I and my family would listen to his fights on the radio.

Love this place...going again in a few weeks. We hire a caravan in Rhyl and just drive down the coast. The seagulls are like ninjas and will suddenly swoop and grab food out of your hand. Also parking can be a nightmare during busy periods. Recommend the mountain railway up the Orme

Hi, as someone hard of hearing, it’s great to see subtitles made very clear by the coloured border. I just wish more vloggers would do that, rather than plain white against a light background 👏👏👏👏👏
