I've tried many different cooler pads over the years. Just bought an Alienware M18 r2, and the llano cooler pad. I had heard that the Alienware gets very warm on occasion, like when playing graphic intensive games. In my case I like MSFS 2020. Once I had my new computer configured, I flew around Tokyo for about an hour, graphics set to high, and had no issues. Had to crank the fans up a bit (800 rpm), to keep it relatively cool, and the llano performed flawlessly. On my old Alienware M17, about three years old, and a four fan cooler pad, my flights only lasted about four minutes before the screen went black due to over-temp. On a scale of 1-10, I would give this a 20 rating if I could, This is the first cooler that I've ever purchased that has exceeded my expectations.

I have this cooler. my Alienware m15 R6 with 64gb RAM without cooler the temp is 80-99 Deg C. with cooler it down to 40-50 deg C

@MrNeilcatorce The cooler is quite impressive. It can take down the temps quick. Also if you're gonna use your laptop, might as well use the fans somewhere in the mid-range and it'll run at higher clock rates for days. Just as you've experienced. Glad to hear another user vouch for the product. Amazing. And thanks for sharing.

Hi, i am going to buy a cooler pad similar to this , it is called IETS GT500 , it has a maximum rpm of 5000. I have a PHN16-71-73LT Acer Predator Helios neo 16, and using predator sense i saw that the fans can take an average max rpm of 6200 or so . My question is, will the llano or IETS gt500 cooler pad damage my laptop fan bearings since the cooler pad and laptop fans are running near maximum?

Will using the USB Hub via USB-C to USB-A draw less power from the laptop? Ex. Connecting mouse/keyboard onto the Ilano cooler instead of directly to the laptop. Or is the difference negligible?

@roneljusto8602 Great question. I'm not too sure. But, I would guess since the cooler has it's own power supply, that it won't draw current, but simply provide an up-down stream link for USB extension.

glad i stumbled across your video as all the other just pit this one against the others and dont show true results like you did running your laptop without fans running to show the true cooling of this cooler pad, hopeing itll keep my acer nitro 5 temps way down then they are out the box

@user-kk4mt4ik9t I'm glad it helped. It is actually quite good.

defenitly is good for sure, was gaming around 94-97 celcius with just a regular cooling pad and with this one i have yet to pass 85 with it only at 900 rpm this is on about 95% load during cpu demanding games @@techknowlux

@user-kk4mt4ik9t It's very good if you keep your laptop on a desk connected to an external monitor. Kicks butt over the built-in fans.

@jiahuihui2000 Amazon. Check the links the description. I have coupon codes if you're buying from the US. There is an RGB and a non-RGB version too. The codes are good for one week.

If this blows air into your laptop faster than your fans are blowing it will spin your fans faster than they should be. If your fans are sucking faster than this then the seal may starve your fans of air. Somebody please tell me I'm wrong.

Crazy expensive for a fan blowing some air

@hiravparekh8695 It's for enthusiasts my friend. In the era of $400 keyboards, $2000 gpus and $1000 computer cases, $140 fan is nothing. Lol.

The benefits you get would save you money in the long run though, longevity of the laptop and protects dust from getting inside the laptop

My laptop goes up to 90db at full blast 60 db is nothing Edit: I’ve seen where I went wrong, I put my decibel reader directly in front of the air exhaust. I put it over the air flow, on top of my laptop and it’s 50 - 60 db

90dB? What laptop is this? NASA laptop? Lol.

@sonicthomasgamer No worries. Rookie mistake. We all make'em. Even I did at one point.
