I would like to add that, you can view the temp while playing the game to make it more accurate using afterburners. But, with your previous video, I am confident that ilano works. Now I am just waiting for my v13 non-rgb to arrive.
@cvzone5 ай бұрын
Great Test, but the Temp readings are some bit of useless, (especially from the Taskmanager) because in that moment you minimize the game, the 3D renderings stops (and with that the GPU clocks/Voltage drop, see Afterburner) and the temperature drops immediately. You should try a game rendering in an active background window.
@jpalacesneakers5 ай бұрын
That day I was planning on using Halo Infinite as the demo which lets me have the temp programs overlayed over the gameplay but the game was down, I didn't realize XDefiant wasn't going to let me overlay the temp programs till I started recording. I know what you mean about having the game window visually active, but the temps still increased significantly for the comparison. Still appreciate the feedback Brother 💯👍

How often do you have to change the filters ? And stimate how long the foam can last ? I ask this so i know if i should buy an extra pack of foam and filters. Thanks !
@jpalacesneakers3 ай бұрын
@ryuzen30 I would say if you use your cooler every day at 2 or 3 months, just check it and if it seems very dusty, brush off the dust and run it through water lightly. Leave out to dry. If you use it every other day, 4-6 months. They will last a whole year each if you clean them carefully. But I would buy spares for sure, easier than cleaning.

Hey bro, whats your room temperature at the time of testing? Just curious coz where im at, average room temp is around 26'C. Cooler room air or with air conditioning will definitely help cooling alot. Thanks!
@jpalacesneakers15 күн бұрын
@ismailzaba3209 I do all my testing at 76'F (24.44'C), it's the temperature I'm most cozy in. 24.44'C to 26'C = 1.5 degrees difference Environment cooling is just as important, peeps who live in hotter places they will definitely need a cooler. With an AC at home it helps a lot. Watch this video about the V12 or V13, it surprised me a lot. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpSqnIqlnbB4jrc Great question by the way Broskis

Can you use these types of cooling pads along with side vent vacuum style coolers at the same time?
@jpalacesneakers5 ай бұрын
I never used those side vent cooler vacuums but I believe so, since the vacuum is just going to be sucking out the air. As long as your laptop has bottom intake vents, then you can add one of these Llano/IETS/Flydigi style coolers. Then all you'll need to do is fine tune the settings of both devices, see which rpm (fan speed) will work best. Personally, if you have many intake vents underneath your laptop I would suggest going with a Llano/IETS/Flydigi set-up instead, just seems like a more efficient system to pump cool air into your laptop instead of trying to suck all the hot air out.

Should I turn on the notebook fan along with this cooler ? will this cooler vents the air from bottom to top or pushing the air to move out the air from sides of the notebook? will this damage the notebook fan? I have Alienware m17.
@jpalacesneakersАй бұрын
@fidanmdv8263 Since high-end coolers are relatively new, more research needs to be done to be 100% sure of the effects. If you feel more comfortable keeping the fans off from the notebook, can do that to have piece of mind. Turn the cooler on and check the temperatures, it should have improvement over the standard internal fans of the laptop, that is what I am thinking. Or Many folks use both: the cooler with the internal fans at the same time. I also run both at the same time and have never had any problems. Many have older laptops that are dying due to overheating, and these coolers have saved their laptops. Newer laptops are more robust (more modern) but can still benefit from a cooler. I would suggest, do what makes you feel more comfortable. Hope this helps 👍👍

How do i know if my laptop can use a cooling pad?
@jpalacesneakers5 ай бұрын
If you look underneath your laptop, it needs to have intake vents for airflow. That way the laptop cooler can blow air into your laptop to cool it. The air will need to escape through exit vents, these should be on the side or on the top of your laptop. So for a laptop cooler to work you need to have intake vents and exit vents on your device. Laptops with larger intake vents will benefit a lot more from a laptop cooler. Laptops with smaller intake vents will not benefit as much, a cooler can still help out but since the vents are small not that much air can passthrough. I have a Lenovo which has both intake and exit vents, but I also have MacBook Pro which only has exit vents, so a laptop cooler won't work on my MacBook Pro. Hope this helps! 👍

Basically want to ensure the foam does not obstruct these intakes. Thanks :) Have just seen your measurement video - please ignore!

Thank's for the great video.I've owned the G-12 for about eight months. Mostly use it for Ms Flight Simulator. I was about to start out on a new flight this afternoon, but the fan stopped working on the cooler. Did the usual things: Turned the cooler off. Checked it was properly connected and powered, etc....... Waited for about 40 minutes, tried starting the unit again, and as soon as the fan ramped up above 700 rpm, it stopped working again. If any of you out there have encountered a similar problem, please let me know if there is an easy fix. Or should I start looking for a new cooler? Thank's in advance: HL
@jpalacesneakersАй бұрын
@hanslietsch4799 Check the cable, someone had a similar problem, but they had accidentally plugged in the wrong power source. If it's not the cable, then sadly, it's going to be the unit. Also, if there is a support number you can call, maybe a tech can suggest some solutions or a replacement if it's still under the manufacturer warranty 🙏. Best wishes 👍

@nolimits9776 More studies need to be done on this topic, not enough research exists. A lot of people just want to see the performance of their laptops improve or the heating lower significantly (especially if their laptop is shutting down because of high temperatures). My laptop has been working like a charm, it's a good point many have brought up. Maybe I should try to investigate this myself to help everyone understand better (I would need to somehow look through the laptop).

The filter is enough for filtering dust. When it comes to particulate matter it is good to combine the filter foam and add another layer of filter from the airconditioning filter sheet. Just cut it with a scissor similar to the foam filter. It adds another layer of protection when it comes to particulate matter and the filter foam for Llano is not enough.
