How annoying to have to be Politically Correct all the time. Hired a company to do my roof and was honestly a little shocked to see all four workers were Hispanic. One man was a nice man, easy to talk to. Other three were condescending, rude and did not speak English at all, so far as I could tell. One factor is roofing companies hire many Hispanic workers as they will work for less money. Quality of work was average but certainly not stellar.

It was no big thing back in the day for ethnic slurs to be used on film check out films like The Well, The Lawless , Border Incident and every western film revolving around Cowboys and Indians. People had no discomfort about things like that although I do recall some adamant discomfort I witnessed more than a few times when Dances With Wolves came out, after hundreds of films where the Indians were the bad guys this one movie where the Indians were the good guys turned many white people.red😆😆I guess they weren't strong enough to deal with it . That it was "just a film" seemed to escape their emotional sensibility.
