This video was awesome! I'm planning to solo travel to Phuket soon. Fun fact: there is a Chinese belief that when you hear marbles dropping in the middle of the night, it means the place is haunted. The marbles are placed in between each level of the building to entertain "ghost children" so they'll play with the marbles instead of bothering you while you rest.

Phuket has an old town. There are flea markets in Phuket old town, lakes, waterfalls, beaches, amusement parks, shopping malls. There is a place for nightlife Take a motorbike around the island, Parks , There is a wide variety of Michelin-starred restaurants. These are just some of the things I can think of, in fact there are more. This place used to be second only to Chiang Mai where there are many Nomads and expatriate retirees. Because there are beautiful and unique cafes. Plus there is free internet and high speed. And many kinds of delicious local food here can't be found anywhere else in Thailand. kzbin.info/www/bejne/amLUn4WhjK5-bJo kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6qohKmvqcyFesk kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4a3ZoR_nNB2qtE

Hi I’ve just come back from Phuket.. steer clear of the taxi drivers they will rip you off… download ID driver and you will pay actual price for travelling… for example from my hotel to patong its like 2 miles and they were charging me 300-400 baht… where as ID driver rate was between 90-120 baht

Hey Mandy, just a suggestion for your allergies. I have the same problem with cats. If I forget to wash my hands and touch my eyes, they go crazy. If you haven't already tried them, get some antihistamine eye drops. All the major over the counter brands like Visine and Bausch and Lomb make them. That itchiness you're experiencing will disappear in seconds. Loving the video. It's helping with my November planning. I'm in Surrey BC. Where are you from?

I've never given my passport to rent a scooter. Either they can have a photocopy or a cash deposit or I will find somewhere else. Just not worth the risk that they will come up with additional damages that already existed (even having photos/video from when you rented doesn't always help) and hold your passport demanding extra money.
@ryandevillers2142 жыл бұрын
Yeah but not everyone has large amounts of cash deposit to leave

There is a hotel near Bangla Road and the Jung Ceylon Mall called Sleep With Me, which is not what you might think. It's very PG. Regardless it was excellent, with excellent food and breakfasts in the restaurant included in the price. It was in your range. Just in case you'd like a new location at some point. Clean and quiet and two blocks from the beach too. Having a decent hotel made my trip to Phuket a real proper experience.

Hard for me to pick one as everything from places to foods to people to activities I can do altogether created the experience for me. So i will say it depends on what you like. Phuket and nearby provinces of Krabi and Phang Nga has lots to offer. If you like party and night life, you may want to stay near Patong beach but if you like quiet beaches, dont choose Patong. There’s old town Phuket with loads of food options for foodies and colourful Chino-Protugese style buildings. There’s bg night market there in old town every Sunday. Threre are many islands around Phuket, including Similan, Raja island to name a few. You can also take a day trip to Phang Nga for Samet Nangshe viewpoint and Phang Nga Bay or day trip to Phi Phi National Park in Krabi province, home of the famous Maya Bay, Phi Phi Island and Pileh Lagoon.

Hey, Lloyd & Mandy! Enjoying your videos so far. To reach your goal of 100K subscribers, may I suggest that you try improving your videography lighting and angle shots, more aerial shots from the top and video titles. Also, perhaps injecting interesting story telling about the places of interests that you are visiting - history, background and culture. (not just about food & accommodation alone) Sharing from your past experiences and how you relate to the present places you are visiting will also be most helpful. You know, something that is uniquely different and fresh perspectives to differentiate from other KZbinrs' content. Do take time to explore. Looking forward to your wonderful travel journeys and vlogs...Cheers!
