this is probably the main question we ex born- in jw have!! I was raised with the Paradise Lost... book, in the 50s. Why did I believe that there was a paradise at the beginning? my parents believed it, but also the other christian catholic or protestant kids were familiar with this idea...it was in our christian culture. How could a creationist believe that God s creation wasn’ t perfect at beginning? this is the original false idea, which leads to false conclusions. Later, as young adults, we all asked or even discussed most of the 12 questions. But we thought, there are no answers, its beyond our understanding, J will help us in time. Some of us were not longing to a Switzerland style paradise, we believed in technology and science. We knew that the paradise pictures were just a common accepted illustration. Once you believe in a lost paradise, it makes sense to believe there is a divine plan to recover it...

Anyone that knows much about biology would know that carnivores physically cannot survive on plant matter as their gastrointestinal tract isn't sophisticated enough. Herbivores typically either have multiple stomachs in which plant matter is fermented (like ruminants) or crops full of stones (like certain birds or sauropods) or they have extra long intestines (like perissodactyl ungulates such as horses) to extract as many calories and vitamins and minerals from the vegetation they eat as possible. Herbivory evolved millions of years later than carnivory, as it is easier for an animal to turn meat into flesh than it is to extract protein from plants or biosynthesize it. So yeah, I'm sure you're right, I bet tons of JWs harbor unspoken doubts about that teaching, among several others.

Who's going to operate the airports? Who's going to mine the crude oil? Who's going to refine it into jet fuel?
