As the Sole UK importer for this popular brand in the UK, I can confirm the Fixed stock option is £999.99 Inc Vat & The adjustable stock is £1099.99 Inc Vat! The underside of the action has been designed specifically to have a textured finish in order to resist any marks from general wear and tear that a championship sporting gun may endure on the clay shooting circuit. Shoot Well & Enjoy Folks

Great review as always LLoyd, After doing a lot of research I decided to buy a 32" Pro 12 as a "Hack"/ bad weather clay gun, took it to a local 70 bird clay shoot the next day. Managed to straight a couple of stands and it actually shot quite well for a budget gun, second to last stand it double discharged and the trigger was locked up solid, took the trigger unit out and the top firing pin had come out of it,s retainer and moved over and jammed the bottom firing pin!, needless to say I took it back to the gunshop the next day and they were brilliant- offered me a replacement off the shelf immediately, I declined as I would,nt trust it not to do the same again. I traded it in for a 2 year old Beretta 687 SP 111 adjustable at a very very good price due to the hassle I,d had and I,m very happy with it. my pal has got an earlier supersport ATA and he has,nt had any issues with it since he bought it 3 years ago, maybe I got a "Friday afternoon" one, just thought I,d let you in on my experience. keep the reviews coming.

Excellent review as always. Just a few further observations, not criticisms of your review or the gun. Bearing in mind you put a slab or more of cartridges through before you reviewed this gun, I’m surprised that it came as a surprise to you that there is no barrel selector on this gun when you were looking at it on the table. I also noticed that you had 1/4 choke in bottom barrel and half choke in the top. I purchased a Pro 12 a few weeks ago and while £1200 is the RRP with adjustable comb, they can be purchased new for £1050 with adjustable comb. I saw an offer on one stand at the Shooting Show in Harrogate for £1000 with adjustable comb. Bearing in mind no barrel selector I purchased an extra Skeet, 1/4 and 1/2 choke to cover most disciplines. They are fantastic well engineered guns for the price with great wood. I have yet to see any retailers offering stock and barrel weights but I’m sure these will be made available soon. As a matter of interest my 30” version with adjustable comb balances perfectly on the hinge pin without any additional weights. Trigger pull is good and can be adjusted. Perhaps this is one reason for the detachable trigger. Simple to remove it and adjust trigger to your preference with a screwdriver. Presumably a second detachable trigger will be made available at some point as a backup when shooting competitions. Some of the older competition guns with detachable triggers (Kemen for example and some earlier Berettas and Perazzis, didn’t have barrel selectors. No need to add a further complication that is not really required at competition level. The Pro 12 cannot be ignored at this price. This is a fantastic gun for the money with negligible felt recoil and will take the market by storm.

You could delete the barrel selector on any of my guns and I wouldn't notice. It's not something I use when shooting unless there is a presentation that *actually* requires it. Which I dont often see.

I suppose the detachable trigger group could be useful as a security measure.. If someone does get your gun safe open,( or steal your car with gun inside) a gun with no trigger present is no use to them.

Great honest review. I too, don't really see the 'need' for the removable trigger, its unlikely this gun will be at the UK sporting championships at a pro level?? BUT, like you say, how COOL!!! is it to show your shooting mates? That's a bit of bling, that lets face we mostly all love, but don't need. But everything else for just £1200? and... so it won't hold its value used, but c'mon, 1200 new.... that's not a lot to lose... I get the feeling you could have this one gun and shoot it for many years, so what are you really losing? Yeah, you're spot on correct, it's the Kia or Hyundai. Would I buy one? yes I would. Offer it in a long lasting black metal finish, with a CG style ascent rib option... and ok, lets be crazy here, a full set of extended Teagues as standard.... for under £1500, I don't think they would be short of buyers...

Security more than anything. The ability to take the triggers out if you have to leave the gun in your car when travelling etc will put you in good stead if the guns get stolen. And the judge asks what measures you took to render the gun useless to a would be thief👍🏻

@@ZeldasGhost Absolutely, some of the ranges I visit here in Australia want all firearms to be left in the car until you 'sign on' and enter the actual range firing area - yeah, yeah looks like low risk but it doesn't sit well with me. As an old soldier I hate doing this with firearms (read: fully functioning firearms I can't pull the bolt out of) being able to remove the trigger assembly this would definitely be in my pocket as I dutifully line up to pay my range fees and would definitely make me feel a lot better.

Hi Loyd great review, I bought one as a winter gun a few months back, I’ve put a couple of thousand through it no issues other than catching the trigger release inadvertently a couple of times, the stock chokes don’t pattern well but with some beretta extended Mobil chokes works well, shooting towards the top of the local club shoot now with it, and leaving the beretta at home on occasions, I think that says enough to me about how good it is.

I have one of these and had it for a few months. Before i had/have a 686 and they are quite different. The 686 is far more pointable and has greater gun speed i suspect because of the difference in weight. I find the recoil on the ATA to be comfortable. I think this is a lot of value for money given the adjustable comb and chokes you get in the box. Not sure its helped me shoot any more clays but nice to have something steel shot proof too. The barrels are very conical if you look up close - again i guess aiming for Baretta style? Good review though, would be interested to hear more comparison of shooting it against another more expensive gun please.

Great review as a first or even second gun it's a bit of a bargain. As you say no good as a trade in. But if you decide to blow 5k on something posh (and if it's that good why would you) chuck it in the back of the cabinet to lend to a mate or take out on a horrible winters day when you don't want to take the good gun out.. I guess you'd loose at least half it's value if you part x it within a year or so. But 5/7 years down the line I can't imagine it would lose much more.

Lloyd, how do you find the triggers on ATAs? I had an sp black which I bought new and eventually traded in because the trigger pulls were so bad it was actually effecting my shooting, took me a while to realise what was going on but the gun wasn’t going off when my brain was expecting 😂. And for what it offers seems like a great way into the sport. I'm probably going to be shooting trap for a while as I'm learning. Apparently this is a great gun for that due to the fact that you can alter almost all of the bits you need to get your fit and balance right. The spring-loaded adjustable trigger is a great feature, for example. They just need to make sure their fit and finish is up to par..

Hello Lloyd, Great review on this ATA…..I recently purchased a Kizilkaya RT25 (six weeks ago) from dealer here in the USA. Well, I am not too happy with the customer service at this end of this purchase. To be more specific the factory supplied chokes ( five furnished and one choke would not even screw in either barrel) and the removable trigger group which was virtually almost impossible to remove. I sent my gun to the importer in Texas and gave me a NEW set of chokes and resolved the trigger problem for the most part! Is it possible for you to get your hands on one of these guns and give an impartial review of it for any potential buyers of this model? Thank you, Mike P. (USA)

I think based on the pricing I’ve seen they will be too expensive for the uk market.

Given the choice which would you have the webley and Scott pro comp the yildiz pro black or the ata pro 12 which is the better £1000/£1500 Turkish gun

Zero comparison. A yildiz pro is an mx12- no ifs ands or buts, find a story of a yildiz pro having an issue- you won't, the ata is a cheaply made 686 lookalike, decent cheap gun, but a hell of a long way off a y pro, lloyd didn't like the yildiz as its a direct copy of perazzi
