I agree I’m a 12u player and at practice we were doing drills didn’t have a mask on and one of the balls hit me right in my face and I broke about 4 bones in my face the doctor told me that if the bone doesn’t heal right I might not be able to ever move my eye again and that I should never play softball again but luckily I recovered in a reasonable amount of time and I’m doing great now but I always wear a face mask.

I'm in AZ so I'm unlucky enough to be in the Western Region. We won our State tournament twice (baseball not softball) but both times we lost in the Regionals to the team that won the whole LLWS. Once to Southern California and the next time we lost to Hawaii. We could have been the second-best team in the world twice but didn't make it out of the Regionals 😢

There are a lot of negative comments about Peterson's attitude. I don't think it was so much a bad attitude... I would much rather coach a kid who cares about the game ( as she does) than a bunch of kids who won't stay off their phones and giggling/playing around in the outfield.
