On this hike I aim to complete the 110 miles of the Llyn Peninsula Costal Path, which is part of the Wales Coast Path. The whole adventure was completed in five days with a total ascent of circa 9,000 feet.

In this video I start in Porthmadog on day one and head initially towards Criccieth via Black Rock Sands. This beach is extensive and very much empty until you approach the western end where you will find many van and cars, and of course many ice cream vans. Onwards we pass through Criccieth passing the Lifeboat station and the castle.
We are then taken inland alongside the Avon Dwyfor before passing onto the busy A497 road for 3.5 kilometres. Eventually, we are led onto a very long beach which takes us to Pwllheli Marina. Next it is the turn of the golf club to witness our walk and then we take to the dunes to find our wild camping spot for the night and the finish of day one.
Day two is overcast but this does not deter an early start as we head towards Llanbedrog beach where we find the multi-coloured beach huts. From here we head up towards Las Glyn-Y-Weddw where we spot the various sculptures in the grounds of the hall. We pass the open air theatre on our way up the hill to view the sculptured man.
We eventually end on a Beach where we walk in to the very centre of Abersock admiring the houses and boats. From here we are on the road to Mackroes and walk around the headland. I discuss the lack of quality control on hiking apps and to emphasis the need to always carry a physical map. Next we are on the headland where we admire the wild horses before finding a place to wild camp over looking the sea. Day two ends and we have completed over forty miles.
