How do like that Yamaha trombone compared to the King trombones

I only have experience playing the more vintage king 2b and 3b. I didn’t like the idea of playing a horn that if it were to get stolen or damaged I would not be able to find one that plays the same. I did try a new 3B once but again years ago and it didn’t play as well as the more vintage ones. Not sure what the current instruments play like. Yamaha for me is more consistent so I know that if something happens a new one will play the same or really close. The Yamaha slides are also fantastic and I like the sound of the trombones. They have less of their own personality which means that I can do more with the sound and make them fit different ensembles. Hope that makes sense.

@@LowBrassLuke Yes that make total sense i have a Yamaha 354 excellent quality and Yamaha are very consitant The Kings are not and there slides are sketchy there workmanship is not constant either .
