Robbie, it looks like you have that clamped to a Black and Decker Workmate Bench? That looks stable and a comfortable height for routing. BTW, your jig is a brilliant design and LMI has put it together beautifully. My only complaint is that the aluminum neck angle piece they send isn't slotted anymore. Without the slot, it is a pretty unstable fit. I am thinking how to improve that. Thanks for the great video.

That's correct! It is a B&D workmate. Every luthier needs one!

For router, is it work with porter cable 670LRVS w/6931 model?

If it is a full-sized router and you use the appropriate template guide it should be fine.

Why the 3.5mm gap? I've tried this and the angle ends up way out.

The 3.5mm gap is without the fretboard. With the fretboard and frets installed I shoot for about an 11mm gap at the saddle location when placing a straightedge extended along the neck. This is about 1.5 millimeters more than the bridge itself. This will give you the correct saddle exposure during setup to get the action you desire at the 12th fret. Hope this helps. Happy Building!

@@OBrienGuitars thanks Robbie it certainly does help, I've been watching your videos all day and found your explanation in another video. I cut the neck angle today on my 7th guitar build at 2mm gap at the saddle. I have a 7mm fretboard with a 2mm gap that's 9mm plus 1mm for the frets equals a 10mm high bridge with the saddle coming in at the right action hight of my choice. Does that sound about right? I hoping so Hehe thanks for the reply your videos are awesome, stay safe and sound my friend
