Thanks for the video. I'm getting ( key off) 120.9 ohms on pins 2-3 and 17K ohms on pins 5-6. With key on, 1.05 M on 2-3 and 122 ohms on pins 5-6 so presumably have bad spot in wiring

I have a 2016 and the sensor ends are reversed from what you have here. Position 2 has the plug that you disconnected and goes down to the exhaust not the back of the engine.

2014,2015,2016 LML require to regen DPF when NOx sensor(s) replaced according to tech service bulletin. Did u do a DPF regen prior to reset on NOx sensor?

I have a 2013 Silverado duramax that just went into reduced 55 mph reduced speed. I did 2 regents. Took 40 minutes each time. Check engine light went out but exhaust symbol still on. Going to next check my NOx error codes and go from there. Thanks

helpful info and direct delivery good stuff. Are those testing values the same for the downstream NOx sensors on the LML's? I've got a '13 that just kicked the Poor Def Quality msg in the DIC, so just trying to gather info on how to test & troubleshoot everything before we dive in.

Hey, thanks for the video, great help.... Can you tell me what Snap-on scanner you're using and if theres a certain module/key i'd need for it,. and can you do the Redundant Fluid Quality Test with it??...its for a GMC 15 LML??

It’s a modus and you don’t need keys for them anymore. And yup you can do all the tests on it.

Great video and information. I had the NOX sensor1 replaced about a year and a half ago and the sensor code pops up high signal. Any idea what this means as far as high signal. Any would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like the sensor is bad or a short on the signal wire

Have the P11CB code on nox 1. Replaced it with AC Delco new sensor. I reset the computer and reformed the reset on the nox sensor. My pin 2 and 3 read 1.049m ohms with the key on engine off. If i test the same pins with the key off, i get the readings you said. Any idea what would be wrong?

Do you have to go in manually and reset the nox sensor it’s self? I just replaced the nox sensor 1 and still have a CEL for it everytine I clear the codes and thought I had a bad one

You will need to clear the code and reset the nox sensor system for the one you have changed for that you need a scan tool.

hey man, thanks for this video it really helped me out dianosing the NOx code i had. however, i performed the exact same tests you did, and replaced the sensor. now i have a dtc U029D- loss communication with NOx sensor 1 module. i clear it it come right back. i reset NOx sensor 1 with the scan tool. and it will not go away. all of my wiring is good, i have power and grounds exactly where i had them before. i need some help getting rid of this DTC please.

Possibly defective sensor. Even dealer sensors cant 100% be trusted. Or check your connectors

@@screamindieselltd I did check my connections. All of them were solid. I mean the only thing that makes sense to me in a bad part. Other than the ECU. And I've proven that the ecu is doing what it wants. Yeah in the times we are in, a (new) bad part is all too common. But thanks again!

Usually you need to use a scanner.
