I'm not sure if you reside here anymore, but I know you pretty well as a player, at least locally. Idk if you remember me, but we played once, I'm Lizard a Ganondorf main. Leo’s Byleth was actually playing well too. No wonder Leo tweeted that, Shadic is GOAT'd. I wonder what this MU is tho. That looked really hard for Byleth with Corrin’s speed, frame traps, and near equal range. And Shadic’s movement with Corrin is terrifying.

​@@aaronjosephs4669 Nah, Shadic is incredibly good at the ditto. He 5-0'd Neo and 3 stocked Cosmos off of Corrin in the ditto. The best picks would have been either Joker or Pythra. The skill gap between Leo and Shadic isn't big enough at this point for him to do the ditto IMO.

I feel like we could make a whole documentary on Ultimate Corrin. We left this character's entire new solely in this kids hands for like 5 years as everyone called them bad. Jump to 2023 and Leo wins a major with Corrin, we have a top Japanese rep, and that kid turns into an absolute demon. This character was never that bad even before the buffs, and Shadic is gonna start taking majors if he keeps playing like this

Los demás jugadores han evolucionado muy bien, y Mkleo le esta pasando factura estar jugando tan sobrado , con partidas practicas y jugadas de memoria ya no le alcanza, la experiencia y las mañas de la vieja escuela que ya no le alcanzan mas para pasar de ronda o bien llegar a las finales o bien ganarlas, se esta yendo muy fácil por ir tan a la ofensiva con jugadas muy arriesgadas, ya muchos sabes como juega y últimamente lo veo mucho rivales en los brackets de los losers en varios torneos q le esta ganando. !! Ha dejado de ser el gigante , en otras ocasiones ganaba por la mínima, el juego le echa su manita con ciertas jugadas pero ya la suerte se le esta acabando. A su Baylet le tiene la medida puesta ! Esperemos el regreso nuevamente de ese gran maestro que es LEO

Shadic pressure was insane he barely let Leo make any defensive decisions he was on him for everything, made him hesitant, caught secondary options. The tomahawk grabs were smooth. But the ledge trapping, idk how many times he got leo's get up, stuffed his jump one time and got a fair bair, and then when Leo tried to mix up with roll Shadic was on him with the dtilts. He has so many layers to every option, which makes him play so fast

my favorite set of the tournament. The players I most enjoy watching is shadic, leo, spargo and neo. So it was great to see this set. Shadic proved hes as good as the best and i hope he can take home a major soon, gg my dude

Yeah, Leo wasn't even playing bad here, SHADIC was just playing godlike. There were so many times Leo went for a well-spaced kill move or combo starter, and SHADIC would just parry it perfectly and reverse the situation for big damage or a kill of his own. Even when Leo did land a starter like nair, SHADIC's tech timing was so good he was able to avoid the follow-up hit. Leo did well keeping most of the games even, but SHADIC's advantage state was smothering. SHADIC is the Corrin GOAT.

Leo is having a bit of a tough time with his insistence on staying a character even if he’s losing. Same thing happened with him losing to Skinny The Pooh at Rise n Grind when he chose to stay as Joker against Mario. His Byleth is great, but clearly it wasn’t the right choice for the matchup

@@jusspimpin I more mean that Leo was clearly having trouble with the matchup compared to how he usually performs against other members of the top 15 that he often plays against. I guess it would have been a better example if it was a 5 game set since he couldn't really swap after losing the first game and risk it being a worse matchup. More respect though to Shadic in this case cause Leo actually put Corrin as a favorable matchup for Byleth in his own matchup chart. Guess he did it based on statistics and not on his actual knowledge of playing against the character.

As many people commented, Leo doesn't seem to have an answer for a character like Corrin, we're reaching a point where people main so many characters that bracket luck influences a ton more than it used to, Leo player really well but Shadic kept pressuring him like crazy, I wish this was streamed.

The timing of this victory is unfortunate. Because Leo has been taking L's to people he normally wouldn't, and people will write this off as just part of Leo's "washed" era. But if you actually look at the gameplay here, Leo was playing great. Shadic was just playing like a top 3 player himself.

I think the biggest difference between past Leo and current Leo is that game 4 X factor. Leo would sweep opponents when he was down two games time after time, but I can't remember the last time I've seen him get a reverse 3-0.

from what I can hear, the sonic is trying to time the terry out with spindash (they're using it way more than normal), and the terry is trying to tack on damage with powerwave. I think(?) the sonic is winning the set because a) they're trying to time the terry out and b) i hear fsmash at one point, which is usually ledgetrapping/twoframing.

Absolutely!!! God I just played Conquest recently and the first thing I did after beating Conquest was start a new save file and play Conquest again. Which is something I will never do with 3 Houses cause I don't want to go fishing for hours and do the monastery bull$#!7. Not to mention the 3 Houses map is @$$. It's literally just an open field with nothing to maneuver around. And don't even talk about Lunatic difficulty. Hope you are having fun chipping your opponent 5 tiles away with curved shot!!!!
