LMS 44871 on a run with The Waverley 04/08/24

LMS 44871 was the motive power for todays Waverley railtour from York to Carlisle and return over the Settle Carlisle line, we see the Black 5 with eleven on and 47848 on the rear from Arcow Quarry, just as the train runs through Helwith Bridge you can hear a Helicopter over head but not for long, hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.

Glad to see that it stayed dry for you today, it was running 30 mins late when it was approaching Carlisle so I managed to see/video it, after having my usual Sunday Lunch in Cumwhinton, however I only had my mobile phone with me so sound quality is not very good.
