Olen, I just recently bought the LMS 6550. Do you know who I can contact to to get a kit to make my machine CNC?

Sorry, I don’t have any resources for CNC conversions. Everything I have is manually operated. Did you ask the folks at LMS?

@@olennemac2502 Olen, When I ordered my machine from LMS I asked about CNC conversion kits. They did not have any but I will keep checking with them. One outfit I contacted said they were getting a lot of interest in them and was looking for a vendor to make them. I'm not in a big hurry but I would like to do it fairly soon. Thank you for replying to my inquiry.

Nice video. Is that power z axis original or the Priest Tools model ?

It is the unit from Priest Tools sold by LMS. I purchased one of the first ones and had some problems when I mounted it due to misalignment of mounting holes. This was because SIEG doesn't drill holes on their columns the same every time. I did my own modification to the Priest Tools bracket and also notified them of the problem. Once it all fit together it works very well and saves A LOT of hand cranking! Well worth the money in my opinion.

@@olennemac2502 Have the Priest power z axis on order now. Have the LMS 5500 and added the Bluetooth DRO package and your videos have helped in the routing of the wiring. Thanks or the info.
