This is the greatest live rock band of them all. I saw them approximately 24 times in this very time frame. This is EXACTLY as I remember them. Donna Godchaux was awesome. I don't care if she was occasionally off-key. She was classy, smart, kind and gorgeous and I love her to this day. When they were ON, they were the best band you ever saw ... MAGICAL! Jerry, we REALLY miss you! Peace ... FoJ

Yes! I saw them live 24 times from 1975-1979 and was a radio DJ for 20 years and played them ALL THE TIME on the air and got in trouble with management. Screw management, I played The Dead! They were the greatest LIVE BAND of all time with nobody else being even remotely close. They kept their prices low, never went commercial and LOVED their fans, and we loved them back. Here I go again waxing poetically about The Grateful Dead! Dude, I'll love them all my days. Many people will!

@FanOfJanis how was that? out of the 24 times which show stood out to you? Its incredible that you saw them at what I like to consider the "Golden Age" Mid-Late 70's some early 80's. Thanks for the post peace

I love Bobby's vocal skills. He had a voice like no other. It's a shame that he really kinda lost it now, with his ugly beard (Sorry bobby but it's true) and he really dosnt have the voice anymore. When you look at him then, and look at him now, it's two complety different people.
