Great shots of 60009 Ross and what a great servant to the railways this A4 has been for many decades. A real favourite that will be sadly missed.

allan5919 she has indeed been a great servant. Can’t think of too many steam locos that have done as many miles in preservation as No 9 (FS maybe?).

back in the good old days I to used to see a lot of her passing St Margarets loco shed(64A) and Haymarket(64B) in Edinburgh, she has been a real star always acknowleging those who come out to see her which is a great credit to her crew.It is a sad day for us old yins but I thought someone mentioned that she was doing something in Scotland, let's hope so.Thanks for the terrific video you had me going in the end

UK Trainspotting it truly was. Nice of them to give that last epic blast on the chime whistle.

Yeah exactly right it’s one last hurrah for 60009 before it goes away to Scotland

Scott Joseph Whiley I was fairly certain it was the last one but couldn’t find anything for definite.
