Because the train started at Glasgow, the passenger got on Edinburgh Haymarket, and, recorded from Edinburgh Waverley. Hope that answers your question.

There’s a daily Lner train from Glasgow Central to London King’s Cross but that service will be ending at the end of this year

I was in London last February and travelled on the Azuma, TBH I found it really uncomfortable

Many people do. I actually find the Azuma more comfortable than the HST's, and Class 91/Mk4's they replace. I like a firmer seat with good back support like the Azuma. I'm the same in bed, I prefer a good firm mattress. The split for like vs dislike is about 50/50 but, people are far more likely to complain about something they don't like, than compliment something they do.

@@duncanbhaltaireanraigwilso9627 interesting. It just shows people find comfort in different things. I loved the old BR Mk1 carriages which had sprung sofa like seats but the HSTs were firmer which many liked.

@@itzroblox_games6262 the Avanti West Coast takes anywhere between 4hrs 30 to 5hrs (via BNS) , so no, LNER is quicker.
