LNER Intercity 125/HST Compilation 2019! Final Year on the ECML

3:08 43290 😍😍😍, I’ll usually see that HST on the NMT, but sometimes Network Rail / colas rail will change the HSTs around but hopefully 43290 is on the next NMT move, I’ll be seeing the NMT this Thursday around my area and I also make it a priority to see the NMT Every month to make the most of them lasting before they get taken out of service for the a NMT, but yeah absolutely great vid 👍🏻. Wish I could have see them in their prime but that’s life, but at least Network rail / colas rail have got 4 or 5 Ex LNER HSTs still in service for them so anyone who wants to see them, can.

These will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts! I was gutted not to be able to ever ride on one, let alone go the final farewell!! Hopefully they find work elsewhere, either in Wales or on the Chiltern or Midland Mainlines, but it will never live down the memories of them charging through stations at 125mph! Thanks for this fitting video, it has been brilliant to see your videos this year, keep up the good work!

The East Coast Mainline is not the same without the HSTs

not really there last year as cross country will still run them on the Doncaster to Edinburgh or to Glasgow or Aberdeen section
