LNER Intercity 225 on the ECML! Compilation 2019

Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action! After the Intercity 125 was retired from passenger operation on the East Coast Mainline, it is likely the Intercity 225, Class 91 & 82 will follow along shortly afterwards. The original plan for the East Coast operator was to have 6 to 8 of them retain to work on limited stop services between London and Edinburgh but this was turned down in favour for new train, properly more Azuma trains.
However, Grand Union have put forward plans to use them on limited stop services from London Paddington to Cardiff Central via Newport and a new service between London Euston and Stirling via Preston, Carlisle and Motherwell. Furthermore, TfW are going to use the Mark Four coaches on their premier service between Cardiff Central and Holyhead. Also, Grand Central will too use the Mark Four coaches but will be operated by Class 90's rather than 91's for their proposed service between London Euston and Blackpool Pool via Preston some point during 2020.
Meanwhile though, I wanted to pay tribute to these units for all their hard work on the ECML under the same operating names as the East Coast HST’s from Intercity to GNER, National Express, East Coast, Virgin Trains East Coast and London North Eastern Railway. So, here is my compilation of them throughout 2019 taken from various locations across the country, both stopping at stations and speeding through. These units will also not be forgotten any time soon especially since they are my favourite within the entire British network of rail transport. Hope you all enjoy this!
