When I bought a Dellorto from Rivera/ Primo in 1984 it came with the single throttle cable grips. Used it for Mikuni VM also. Good video for the Honda.

This worked perfect on my Shadow 600. Going to attempt this on a 7/8 handle bar on my Virago. Wondering if anyone knows if the tap will be the same size. (ordering 7/8 single throttle cable obviously)

Why Do they come with 2 cables anyway? This seems to work just fine

Push/pull throttle cable set ups provide more strength so they are less prone to snapping while riding since there is less stress on it. Also provides a more controlled close of the butter fly in the carb. Means less wear and tear.

How do you get so much snap back. I recently did this mod and I have to push my throttle back forward

The spring on your carb should snap it back but I don't think you should even be able to push it back with if the spring was at fault so maybe something is preventing the handle from moving freely?

You should keep the 2 black wires, that are attached to the brake lever. Keep them wired to the 9 pin connector

Any idea if this throttle will work for HD's? The HD throttle cables dont have a screw end like the Honda Shadows
