I only wanna add a few more important points, enjoy it bro, my oldest will be 15 next month and I still remember everything that I felt and learned the day he was born. These days it's "hey pops" or "hey old man what's up" when he talks to me. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the moments you get now, it won't be like this for long. Before you know it silence will become "daddy" then it'll be preschool and "NO" lol. My wife hated that phase, I loved it just because he was growing. Now I miss it something bad. The O.P. is right. Don't forget to take time for you n your lady. Being tired and easily upset aren't helpful, trust me I know lol. Most of all be true to your youngun' by being true to yourself about the lessons you will teach. My son is a strong boy, smart and proud of who he is. I simply told him the truth at all times, even if I didn't have a real answer I admitted it.
