This technolgy has a practical application for learning musical phrases. There are programs for this if you have the music on a computer,but if you are trying to learn something from an internet site you better have a pretty good ear or a lot of patience. There was a device made for this but it is out of production now i believe. I would like to get that chip and convert mic and speaker out to 1/8" jack and see how it would work.

I made just this as a diy eurorack module =)

I made a eurorack format with this chip, it's really fun to play with. There is a playlist on my page if you're interested.

Nice video! Its possible conect two outputs to the module? 1for speaker 1 for jack?

Hello, I also have this sampler, unfortunately at the beginning of each recording there is always a “crackling/clicking” I didn't hear that in your recordings. Did you consciously do something against the cracking? Is your module connected to battery or power supply? Thanks in advance Regards

Hey bro i am new at sampling but my keyboard broke its a yamaha prs series 510 so do you have any idea on how i could use parts of it to make a new sampler out of it

where in the circuit have you placed the resistor for the pitch manipulation? Is it from the play.e pin? Thanks!

Sam Furse It’s the R4 SMD Resistor on the board. Just bridge that with a Potentiometer

great project bro, I have a question, sorry I'm beginner, can you activate the play button with a cv trigger? example connect it with this device build from this guy? kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHLVdXqZitacja8 the idea is to have it like kind of module, and trig from one of the 6 voices of the drum sequencer, I'm wondering how

I believe so, theres a large project of this on the web, if you type in the chip name, it should come up or even on here, i think it's by casper electronics

@@dirkk82Hey thanks for quick answer, thing is casper bore me a little I don't find easy to understand a little confusing for me, I watched it 10 times lol, I think there should be a easy way to trigger it via cv :) I know you know the answer :P
@Naked4FunTV4 жыл бұрын
@@dirkk82 i reveal you my diabolic idea: is to build a sequencer and put 8 of this babies in a box and sequence it with a drum sequencer :P I know how to do everything, single microphone audio ins and out, I miss only the trigger part :P

@@Naked4FunTV a diode and 10k resistor in series going to the play pin of the IC is all that is needed, CV voltage is max 5v
@Naked4FunTV4 жыл бұрын
@@dirkk82 thanks a lot, I had kind of this idea, but yeah my knowledge are very basic, so I wasn't sure of it at all and you look advanced from your video :) thanks again good luck with your projects and your youtube channel :)
