Tahira Syed is a Pakistani ghazal and folk singer.Her repertoire of Urdu, Punjabi and Pahari folk songs have made her a popular singer. he first appeared on air in 1968-1969 on Radio Pakistan, and Pakistan Television and her popularity increased in the 1970s and 1980s. "Yeh Alam Shauq Ka Dekha na jaey", "Chanjar Phabdi na" and "Abhi to Main Jawan Hou.n" are some of her most popular songs. She has been the recipient of various musical awards in recognition of her achievements as a singer.

Its nostalgia for me and goose bumps while listening to this extremely beautiful and sweet rendition by Tahiraji,,,,i am recalling my childhood days and my school where every year Saraswati Pooja meant ,,,,all of us dressing up in vibrant colors,many in sarees and doing pooja in school and getting tasty prasad ....and my mom making yellow sweet rice,,,,miss my mom on this day today as it will be 2 years since she passed away on 18th feb 2020....i feel nature and basant is the way we feel positive vibes...in life....in corona days its making me feel more energetic,
