Sir, pano na kuha Ang 3kN na joint liveload? Kung [0.60 x (5.8x3.75)]/8 ?

8 yung divisor natin therefore you need to consider the whole roof, (0.6)(5.8x3.75)(2)/8 = 3.26, rounded off lang kaya 3. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks

Good day, sir. Paano po nakuha na yung unit na kN sa Dead Load. Yung given po kasi na unit weight is expressed in kg/m. Bale kung i-multiply yung unit weight na kg/m sa linear meter, magiging kg po.

Mga kaibigan paano po nakuha ung 12KN? Total length ng bottom chord, top chord , web , etc... multiply ng weight(kg/m)? tama po ba or may kulang?

Good day po, sir! Tanong ko lang po yung about sa horizontal force, yung sa wind load. Hindi na po ba siya imu-multiply sa 0.5? Kagaya nung sa bottom chord na dead load na nakamultiply sa 1.2? Salamat po!

Engr. Yung sa Wind load po ba na 5kN(inward) and 4.5kN(outward) Sa horizontal component po talaga ibabase? Hindi sa vertical?

Nature kasi ng wind is always horizontal sa nalalaman ko. We just need to resolve it into 2 components. Thanks

We just simplify the complexities of multiple forces at support Actually even 1 single force (total DL) applied at the centre will give you the same support reaction right?, the more joints loads you have the less magnitude it will give you.

Yes pareho din ang concept except yung factor for inward 0.8 and leeward 0.7 will change. Check recommended value from nscp. Thanks

Design pressure x Ta x 0.8 (inward) or 0.70(outward). That is concentrated (normal force for each). Now resolve into vertical and horizontal component. Then distribute or divide by number of joints on top chord. I hope that helps. Thanks

gud am sir ask ko lang po, yung variation ng joint vertica load sa series 2 & 3 na 10.25kn to 11.06 is it due to additonal dead of purlins And roofing or due to the loads of hip truss 1,2,3 acting on joint EL

Calculated wind pressure (P) x tributary area(TA) x 0.80 (inward) or 0 70 (outward) That is normal force, you need to break it out (horizontal and vertical component) Then, distribute or divide it into number of top chord joints. Thanks
