I have a 14,000# 25' bumper pull and it fits my 70hp tractor and 8' wide dual rotary mower perfectly, when I back on the weight is perfectly distributed and I just fit on the trailer. Thanks for the videos!!!

Thanks for showing this I will be going to get a John deer 5045E and bringing it home trying to go over in my head all the things I need to have with me. My trailer dose not have out rigger Jack's so I will have to bring some blocks to put under the corners I did get the lever type binders though but I think I'll be all right. I've got 3/8 chain in 14 ' lengths it looks like you have 5/16 now only thing to worry about is the 5/8 pin in the hitch but a lot of people say the hitch will tear up before the pin.

According to DOT if the chain from machine to trailer it only gets half the weight rating, so on a 4800 lbs rated chain it is only rated 2400lbs. If the chain is connected to trailer on both ends then it is full rated so a 4800lbs chain would be rated for 4800lbs. You still have plenty of chain rating for the tractor, and a very detailed video, just thought I would let you know about the chain rating. Officer Hoover has several videos where he goes over this with people and he tells exactly what articles in the rule book that you can find anything that he goes over.

Is the trailer 8 ft wide or is deck 8ft wide?

Now also put a strap or chain over top of your loader. DOT regulation an officer can stop you for that not being straped or chained down although your a not for hire farmer or truck driver still can be stopped and sighted for the violation if it's an officer looking to mess with your for it. Fun fact of hauling heavy equipment around.

I believe you misspoke about the weight of this load. Your tractor weight is around 6,800 lbs without the loader and no ballast in the tires. Loader weight is about 2,000 lbs, and your bucket is around 400 lbs. So your weight on the trailer is somewhere around 9,200 lbs. Your trailer still meets the requirements but you’re getting close.
