So GGG has been using the word "Precursor" to describe the endgame areas. And the pinnacle boss area has been described as matching that architecture. Looking at the PoE Wiki, there's a unique item called Precursor's Emblem, which you have to make by vendoring different combinations of component rings. There are nine total, a 'valley', 'mountain', and 'meadow' ring for each of three different entities, Ahkeli, Putembo, and Uzaza. Here's my rampant speculation: the pinnacle area will contain a number of floors, like Dominus' tower in PoE1 Act 3. On the way up, you'll fight each of these three 'precursors' separately. And then when you get to the top, you'll fight ALL THREE at once in some insane arena with moving blocks.

dont know if it would be cool or tedious if you basically had to fight all 3 bosses simultaneously swapping to a different area as they do uber moves that blow up their whole arena then fighting them all joined as one uber boss. By simultaneously I mean the floating platforms each has its own boss which can throw a few moves your way while you are in another but you can cycle through them as you chose.

For me, PoE 2 solves one major issue I have with PoE 1: the fact that most of the skill of the game is done in POB and the actual gameplay is not as important. If this works as I hope it does, I see no reason I will ever be playing PoE 1 after 6th December.

I wanna add that even if you add more spirit to the character, you also need spirit for auras, so I think the ressource will be spread between minions and auras so you have fewer but better minions, or more defensive on the hand.

I hear talk about the 4second minion respawn here and there but has anyone actually brought up the feedback of not reducing the respawn timer but simply making the 4second respawn individual for every minion? So if skelly warrior 1 dies it respawns after 4 seconds no matter what happens to the other minions. No clue how hard it would be to program but it seems to be the ideal solution for me.

regarding bosses killing minions easy with big aoes: i think they will handle it like in poe1 where lingering effects or room wides basically dont damage minions at all. i did uber maven with a minion build in settlers and not a single zombie died although they were clearly tanking all mechanics ^^

id consider myself a minion master to.. since 99% of my builds in poe where minion only builds and made it to endgame a bunch, even ran sometimes as ONLY a minion build.. no curses or anything like that and still getting to end game..... and getting a army of minions is the best feeling and a must if they make a necromancer

I really respect Ghazzy but damn do i diagree with summoner power fantasy = army. as a summoner player i generally prefer golems/more durable heavy hitters that ave a little less flexibility but more impact. i get a lot more out of 'outsmarting them with carefully chosen summons' rather than overwhelming with sheer numbers

One of my biggest concerns with the 'only one portal' thing, is what I've you've just done your content, your loot is dropping, and you die. What then? Everything is just gone? You have no access to your loot in the map anymore?

I heard Raging burning spirit is not directly castable in PoE 2, and that you have to attach it to some other skill. That's my favorite minion and I love casting it directly. I don't want to cast something else and see them show up occasionally. Oh well. Other skills to use I guess.

You mean Summon raging spirit? They are super castable by other fire spells. By default you can have up to 10 and they are like an activated buff. They are summoned when your fire spells hit enemies (up to 5 at a time), they aren't linked to any spell specificly.

As the other guy said! It's a buff like a herald, and not only fire spell hits, but also AoEs summon raging spirits, up to 6 at a time! Idk about you man, but being able to six-link raging spirits AND six-link another spell to trigger it is nothing but a buff

It's the fact that I have to fire some other fire spell to trigger them that I don't like. In PoE they are just minions who do fire damage, you don't even have to take any fire spells in your build..it just completely changes what they are. I might come back to them later but I'm going to do something else in PoE 2 to.give me time to forget the glory of shooting skulls at people.
