Brutal... Pure Longboard essence when it means to Slide, Slide, Sliiiideee!! That's a Longboard for! Pretty good video. Pro clean no complies, 180s, 360s, love it. Good places to start looking are along highway 39 above Azusa, the Glendora Ridge Road (less crowded, slower ride). Pretty much just pull up mapquest and scan the mountains for what looks like small(er) roads. There might be something closer to LA. Keep in mind there will be cars on every SoCal mountain road so keep a spotter ahead of you and take runs on weekday mornings... This vid was likely shot in numerous runs, no way they made it that far without a car coming.

@LiveForTheDownhill It's got some rocker on it. The hookups for the trucks are de-wedged to make it not really goofy to turn. It's a... confusing board. I mean sure it's stiff, but just because it's stiff doesn't make it a DH board. It's pretty much a DKPenguin from where I'm looking at it. I guess when Loaded announced they were making a freeride/DH board I expected an actual DH board, not something with 5" kicktails and early grab rails.

Although i miss Adam squared's like videos, colton editing and filming skills are getting even better with time. When you see videos like whips and chains you think that is impossible to do something better or new in longboard filming, but adam always surprise me

@JordanOnlineReel its actually pretty much nothing like the dervish. The dervish was flexy, this has w-concave, dervish is drop-through mounted where this is top... I agree they should have modified the dervish a little more, but the dervish with kicktails is pretty much the tan tien, but thats about 2.5 inches shorter

I couldn't tell you specifically what road that is, but there is a 90% chance that this was shot in Southern California, somewhere in the San Gabriel Mountains. By the looks of the road quality I would say it's prolly in LA county.

I might sound stupid for asking this, but how do you keep a DSLR in focus when you are doing follow shots at high speeds? I though that when shooting video with the Canon 7D you had to manually adjust the focus on the lens. Am I wrong?
