Vic is the only one of all the GTA protagonists who wasn't already a criminal or had a criminal record before the beginning of his story. After Martinez set him up he didn't have any other choice but enter to the criminal world to help his sick brother by making money to pay his pills. He was an innocent soul that got dragged to a life full of crime by bad people, that makes him the most innocent and one of the most tragic protagonists of the franchise along with Niko and Johnny. *R.I.P. If GTA SA had the wildest and most crazy story, VCS probably had the most realistic storyline to it, maybe second only to IV. You could really tell Vic didn’t want to get involved in all this mess but was dragged into it. However, unlike other protagonists, his consequences caught up to him and he died as a result of his reprehensible actions, no matter how unwilling he was.

Phil Collins. His music rights expired, and since he's a supporting character who appears in missions, and gives a concert, its incredibly hard to delete him from the game. Maybe not *that* hard, but R* will never do it. It's not profitable enough, and they tend to act like the 3D era never happened. Hell, they even don't care about most of the GTAIV characters. Only Brucie, Lazlow, Tony, ULP Contact and Packie appeared in GTA V/Online. Rockstar is a different company now, time to face the facts, sadly.

A unfortunately with 5, although I love all three protagonists and rockstar did a great job on them, they just aren’t anywhere near any of the past gta protagonists when it comes to character writing. The 3 protagonists in GTA5 are basically walking stereotypes while the other games had actual fleshed out characters. I’d say their best written character to date is Arthur Morgan, Niko second, Vic third.

Oh man, I cannot articulate how much VCS means to me. This game formed most of my identity, my general music taste, my love for Phil Collins and a whole lot more. Most of my favourite songs are on this very soundtrack. This game (along with VC) also inspired me to watch Miami Vice, which later became one of my favourite TV shows. I love the Jan Hammer tracks used in this video, really brilliant. Such a beautiful tribute to a fantastic game, thank you so much. And thank you to those at R* who developed this masterpiece (even if you'll never remaster it).

I like how you added the part where victor was drinking his butt off for the past 2 years and we see how he slowly changes into his out of shape self. I mean it makes sense because he been through some hard stuff back in vice city stories. Damn. Victor Vance is the most unlucky protagonist in GTA.

Well done dude, you made an incredible job. The end you made was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. The only complain I have is that when Vic killed the first méndez, Armando used a flamethrower instead of a minigun. I also watched your other videos and they are also masterpieces.

Yes, there even is a flamethrower mod but Rockstar Editor crashes when you're trying to open a clip. That's why in San Fierro 1992 CJ burns the weed down in first person (recorded in-game)

Just finished VCS for the first time (played it years ago but never finished it, finally replayed it from the start) and watching this after; amazing. The recreation of the locations is so well done, i recognized every bit. I loved how you let the conversation from the cutscene flow into the gameplay part of the mission and the VCS theme song was perfectly timed. Also loved the epilogue part of the video and how you tied it to the VC intro. Wish VCS had something after the credits, like a pager message from someone (similar of how Tommy got phone calls after the credits) or maybe a last chill peaceful mission/cutscene after to close the game out.

The epilogue really shows how Vic let himself go after the events of Vice City Stories. In barely 2 years he went from being this straight up clean headed athletic guy to becoming an ugly overweight drug kingpin. He became exactly the type of person he hated like Diaz & co, which inevitably led to his downfall at the beginning of Vice City.

Freaking awesome. The characters are nicely done, the way you sticked up the most important missions together (dialogue, scenes...) is flawless and also the transition to the VC period. But, if I have to seek a mistake, that would be the Phobos VT, due to in VCS never existed.

Very well executed! There's were somethings I wish were done differently, like Reni for example I wish s/he got more screen time s/he differently made this game very distinguished! I also wished that you could of given Vic the suit in some of these cutscenss but apart from the the minor stuff I enjoy it and the ending was the best part for me! It was done soo well that it made me think the times we don't see between 1984 and 1987
