So Sonny basically set up Tommy in LC to get killed but when that didn’t happen & Tommy get sentenced to 15 years in prison, Sonny decided to set him up in Vice City all because he allowed Sonny’s girl to get killed back in 1971. Makes perfect sense & could absolutely be canon to the true storyline! Great Video!!

No Sonny just didn’t like Tommy because he thought he was rising through the ranks too quickly and was jealous of his power, he couldn’t just kill him unless he had a real reason Mob Bosses can’t just kill a Made Man just because he doesn’t like him that’s why Sonny had it set up like that in Harwood and most people in the Forelli Family didn’t want to question him about it because it would’ve stirred some shit up. Tommy was about 95% certain that Sonny set him up not 100% in Keep your friends close Sonny confirmed it when he said “Those 15 years were mine to spend.”

Actually Sonny set him up. In the 70s people were fighting with hands. I guess Tommy killed people with an axe or something, and after that Tommy got nickname " The Harwood butcher"

It makes sense but I think they called him the "Harwood Butcher" because of the Forelli family's main job that is probably selling organs (the dead body that you can see in the beginning of the game and in this video at Marco Bistro)

Either way, it’s sad Tommy lost all of his 20s and prime time to prison, and more than half of his lifelong memories took place in prison. He missed the disco craze.

I’m actually surprised GTA hasn’t released a game set in the 70’s. They’ve done the 60’s with GTA: London, 80’s with Vice City/VCS, 90’s with San Andreas, and GTA IV and V were set in “modern day” of their release. The 70’s seems like a perfect setting for a GTA game; the rise of cocaine and other party drugs, rise in murder and crimes, urban decay, crooked politicians, the “Malaise era” of cars, the sleazy sex scene, the tail-end of the Vietnam War, and the clash of cultures from people still living in a 50’s/60’s mindset and those who are embracing the modern trends.

Excellent video. Unfortunately, Rockstar screwed up with the story of different universes and made it worse with the definitive edition trilogy. I'd love to see updated remakes of the 3D games, as well as possible sequels. Going back to the video, it was so well done that it made me want to see the same type of video with Vice City Stories, showing Vic in the Army, probably serving in the Panama Canal Zone, since after the events of the game, he and Lance they escape there, returning to Vice City only to die.
