LOADING BALES THE PAUS WAY!!!

In today's video we are loading and delivering bales. We test out the Paus in the field and see how well it handles loading bales. These silage bales were sold during the summer to a customer so it's time to start drawing them down to her. The Paus loader is on industrial tyres and the field isn't the driest after all the rain recently.

There's no doubt about it the Paus is a all around woaderful loader. But is it practical for you now at this time.You gave it a good work out for the Paus company they should be Happy and give it to you.And if other farmer's want to come and see it work you can show it off for them !! You've done a good job showing us this loader, it seems to do all you are asking of it :) I'm quite impressed I must say, maybe some bigger tires are optional if it's more a field worker than a yardloader? :) Also, I do appriciate that you are strapping down the bales. I have seen a ton of bale loads that is not strapped going down the public roads, and it breaks my heart every time. Most likely it's all gonna go well, but it's the one time a bale roll off and hit something or someone... Better safe than sorry :)

It might be sn idea to tie the strap on the left hand side if you have issue with strap you are not working at traffic side.

Good point. I always strap on the right though as i have seen ratchets opened by keeping close to hedges on narrow roads.

Yes it could take wider tyres and father Phil didn’t drive it as we decided it was better for one of us to be real good with it than both of us being able to drive it but not to its full potential

Some operator and some machine with so many options in making farm work easier but it will be a downer if and when it has to go back to home dealer and the basic loader comes back in to the picture or maybe a deal/swap can be arranged but some baby in the hands of an experienced operator ...

Do them loaders have the option of a pickup hitch. 3rd service seems on par with a tractor teleporters are generally very slow to open and close a grab compared with a tractor

unfortunately the paus cant fit into all our sheds so the tele wont be replaced but its not to say we dont need a 2nd loader

@@diggerdave.6587 the drive shaft is unguarded between the 2 axles and I’d imagine it would either wrap grass around it or would warp from going up and down the brow of the pit. You’ll see what I mean in my next video on it
