There is so much to learn and consider when doing your job! So dangerous! But it's so nice to see and gear the reasons why you do what you do! I have to admit that I really like that old Chevy truck! Thank you sir! It’s been a pretty good ole truck. I have to be honest though, I’m ready for a tandem axle diesel though. Double bunk. Get more load for the same fuel, better mileage to boot, and some air conditioning lol. I hauled 4 loads yday with the ole boy and got 4 more today. It’s HOT! Lol. But it does get logs to the mill. Good evening brother Zach. Sometimes when you show things, like the "V" for loading, it makes so much sense. Also, how much bigger is your right arm compared to your left? Haha, yessir that’s about right. I have to stack those short tie logs pretty high in order to get the footage stacked up. I hauled some long wood pallet stock today. I had probably 3/4 of a rack and was LOADED. Don’t take many of them long ones to load a truck. Anyway, thanks for the chuckle. And thank you for taking time to watch and comment as always. Hey Zach any idea about what 1500 BF of that hardwood might weigh?

Yessir, between 15-20k pounds. Depends on species being hauled. Example…beech, maple, oak, and hickory is heavier per foot than say poplar, pine, basswood, etc! I allow 15 pounds per foot on heavier hardwood. 10 on the lighter stuff. 12 if it’s mixed…make sense? Anyway, thank you for the question and taking time to watch and comment. Man u gotta watch them binders I usually take my cheater pipe and beat the handle on em I've had one that wasn't seated right bust 3 my front teeth out when I was wrapping the chain around the binder

Yessir that’s right. When I snap them down I can feel em lock in. These newer ones are a little easier than the older ones for sure. I’ve been there myself once. About knocked me out! For real.
